HINO GENUINE P.T.O.
There is no setup of option of the P.T.O. device such as transmission P.T.O. in Hino vehicles.
When P.T.O. is necessary for body or equipment mounting to Hino vehicles, contact directly inthe nearby transmission manufacturer as following or HMS (USA) dealer or HMS (USA) office.
• In case of the vehicle equipped manual or AMT transmission, contact to Eaton CorporationTruck Components Operation.
• In case of the vehicle equipped Allison automatic transmisison, contact to ALLISON Trans-mission Division (ATD) distributers or dealers.

ENGINE REV. CONTROL FOR MOUNTING OF BODY OR EQUIPMENT
Engines which are mounted to the Hino truck models are controlled by a electric computer.Make sure following procedure how to control of engine revolution (speed) hereinafter collec-tively referred engine rev when provide power take off device (ex. Transmission P.T.O.) inorder to control mounted body or equipment.
1. ELECTRIC CIRCUIT DIAGRAM RELATED WITH ENGINE REV CONTROL WHICH IS ORIGINALLY PROVIDED IS FOLLOWING FIGURE.
WARNING 1. Whatever P.T.O. control system is mechanical or pneumatic or electric, the signal circuit of P.T.O. switched on is always connected with engine control computer. 2. This alteration including provision of P.T.O. unit etc. must be provided own responsibility of Body or Equipment Manufacturer. 3. Standard function of Engine Acceleration Control by accelerator pedal inside of cabin is cancelled during opration of body or equipment by in this system.
Note : • Refer chapter 12, page 20 and 32 for Detailed Electric Diagram and chapter 7, page 11 and 12 for CONNECTORS. • Connector B, C and D are provided under the center cluster, instrument panel in cab.

2. PROCEDURE HOW TO PROVIDE ENGINE REV CONTROL DEVICE
1). EXAMPLE A (In the case, engine idle-up at the same time with P.T.O. switched on.)
a. Condition to be adapted this engine idle-up method as follows. • Required torque of P.T.O. : MAX 147 N·m (108 pound-feet). • Control range of engine rev : Idle to MAX 1800 rpm.
b. Make sure to wire the electric circuit as follwowing figure.
c. When set up engine rev and to be needed more informetion, consult to HMS (USA) dealer or HMS (USA) office.

b. Engine rev is controlled by the ENGINE SPEED CONTROLLER.
c. The electrical specification of the ENGINE SPEED CONTROLLER is described in next page.
d. Make sure to wire the electric circuit as follwowing figure.
e. When set up engine rev and to be needed more informetion, consult to HMS (USA) dealer or HMS (USA) office.
