OPPORTUNITY: The opportunity presented by TelePro-Direct is to achieve the easy and harmless way to treat acne - nationwide and worldwide - without any side effects to the consumer. CHALLENGE: The challenge is based on the fact that the Federal Government allows only three ingredients to make a claim to treat acne, and one of them is Benzoyl Peroxide. The problem is that Benzoyl Peroxide actually triggers severe collateral damage to the users skin by causing skin irritation, dryness, blotching as well as bleaching and discoloring of hair and clothing as the Federal Government warns. The specific challenge is to manufacture and market an effective Benzoyl Peroxide free anti acne product. SOLUTION: The Company, working jointly with Columbia University, has developed Z Clear, an anti-acne formulation that does not use Benzoyl Peroxide but instead is predicated on advanced patented technology from Columbia. The Z Clear Anti Acne Three Step Regimen and Instant Spot Treatment, FDA OTC approved products, formulated with ZytrelTM & Salicylic Acid, gets rid of acne, smoothes the users skin and eliminates ALL of the side effects associated with Benzoyl Peroxide. 3. MARKET: Acne is experienced by nearly 100% of all teenagers, 25% of adult men and 50% of adult women worldwide and amounts to a $3 Billion Acne market. Of that amount, approximately $2 Billion in sales is reached through direct response (not retail), AND, of which $1 Billion is sold by proactiv. Proactiv, the singular largest anti acne product, is based on Benzoyl Peroxide. STRATEGIC BARRIERS TO ENTRY: The Z Clear LINE is FDA OTC approved and the products are manufactured using three separate patents exclusive to the Company that protect against infringement through 2025.
