Just as James Chaney, Michael Schwerner, and Andrew Goodman did in 1964. The MSJA hopes to have courageous students fight for change in their communities and across the state.


Faith In The Future" They may even face physical

death (life beyond the physical), and yet they could sing "We shall overcome." Most of them realized that they would be thrown in jail yet they could sing "We shall overcome, we are not afraid. Then something caused me to see at that moment the real meaning of the movement. That students had Faith in the Future. That the movement was based on hope, that this movement had something within it that says somehow even though the arc of the moral universe


The Voice of our Generation

The MSJA is formed to help young people have a platform where their voices can be heard on the issues that they care about along with the struggles of the Mississippi Worker.
