Step #2 Seated partner:
Put hands on top of the table and push downward
Standing partner: Feel the front and back of your partner’s arm
(bicep/ triceps)
2. How did your partner’s bicep and tricep feel when pushing down?

Do we have to tell our muscles to work??? Voluntary:
Choose for it to happen or under your control
Involuntary:
It happens without you choosing or thinking about it

3 Types of Muscle Cardiac muscle:
Found only in the heart
Function = pumps blood through the body
Involuntary (works without your control)

3 Types of Muscle Skeletal muscle:
Attached to skeleton
Function = moves bones
Voluntary (under your control)

2. Label at least 3 parts that are made of skeletal muscle (Label part and type of muscle)
3. Label at least 3 parts that are made of smooth muscle (Label part and type of muscle)
4. Draw and label where cardiac muscle is found (Label part and type of muscle)
5. Write a short paragraph explaining what you drew.
***There should be at least 7 muscles labeled
