    Poultry Shield: Product Concept

    ” Protects and Disinfects”

    Effect On red mites

     – Dissolves the waxy shell

     – Causes loss of coordination

     – Impairs the respiratory function – Causes dehydration

     – Kills

    •  Does not induce resistance

Poultry Shield: Effective at a glance

    ” Protects and Disinfects”

    •   Within a few minutes, the appearance of the typical green colour on the treated

surfaces is an indicator of the chitinolytic effect of the product.

    Application with Depopulation

    ” Protects and Disinfects”

Before removing the birds from the house, spray insideat low pressure 250 litres of 10 % solution for approx.

    10,000 birds.

After restocking, repeat the treatment with

Poultry Shield 10 % every 4 – 6 weeks as needed, only to

the critical areas :(1 litre at 10 % for approx. 1000 birds).

    Application during the production cycle

    ” Protects and Disinfects”

    • Spray at low pressure on cages, nest boxes, feed troughs, transportation belts,

slats and the other structures where the mites clump together

(250 litres of 10% solution for approx. 10,000 birds).

    • Repeat the application of Poultry Shield 10 % no more than 7 days after the

    first application.

    • Repeat the treatment with Poultry Shield 10 % every 4 – 6 weeks as needed, to

    the critical areas

(1 litre of 10% solution for approx. 1000 birds).
