Objectives for the module/training

• understanding of fundamental principles

• insight in the use of powder diffraction for phase analysis (and simple crystal structure evaluations)

• practical training with equipment and software

• achieved sufficient knowledge to use powder diffraction as a tool for certain analyses of own samples
