Throwing & Trimming

Expectations:

• Create 2 bowls (one bowl needs to be at least 4” tall)

• Create 1 cup • One of these 3 pieces need to have a trimmed

foot.• All work should be evenly glazed (cup will be

dip glazed)• Walls & bottoms are no thicker than your

pointer finger

Day 1: Teacher demo – creating a cup/bowl

Day 2: Teacher demo – centering your clay

Day 3: Teacher demo – pulling walls up

Day 4: Teacher demo – Changing shape (in/out)

Day 5: Teacher demo - trimming
