• Workshop participants are assigned to subgroups (see registration)
• Each group has two workshop sessions and a tour
• The tour starts outside the meeting room
The workshop consists of two parts
• Workshop part A (~1 hour)
• Discuss the questions provided
• Three main topics: 1. occurrence and management, 2. pathogen biology and 3. host resistance
• Any other relevant topics
• Workshop part B (~1 hour)
• Write down outcomes of the discussion using the provided PowerPoint template
• Assign a presenter who will present (4 slides, 10 min. max) the outcomes of the discussion
Project pitches: Friday 28 June
• Possibility to inform the participants of interesting ongoing or new projects
• Seek collaboration
• 5-10 minutes
• No need for a PowerPoint presentation
Optional conference dinner
• Eetcafé H41, Heerenstraat 41, Wageningen
• Costs €40
• Three courses: soup (V), main dish, grand dessert (V)
• Main dish options: Combination of Venison and Kangaroo fillet; Fillet of Salmon; Quiche (V)
• Assemble at Wageningen Bus station, stadsbrink at 18:30
Shared statement
• Outcomes of the workshop discussions are combined and presented on Friday
• Preparation of a shared statement on future research needs
• Ideally a global roadmap with milestones can be derived from the workshop
• Publication in EPPO bulletin when suitable
