GloucestershirePostlip House is situated close to the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe a picturesque Cotswold town typified by its traditional stone houses, tea shops, pubs and thriving rural community. The town is well served having a butchers, bakery, delicatessen, restaurants, primary and secondary schools, parish church and excellent modern medical and dental services. More comprehensive facilities are located nearby in Cheltenham.

Sporting facilities nearby include golf at Cotswold Hills, Cleeve Hill and Broadway; motor sport events at Prescott Hill Climb; National Hunt racing at Cheltenham, Stratford and Worcester; sailing on the River Avon; hunting with the Cotswold Vale and North Cotswold hunts as well as Premiership rugby at Gloucester.
