First Poster

1. Inspirations

For the first poster, I decided to have a

mix between paper cut-out and

silhouette. These are the 2 cut out

posters that inspired me.

2. Sketches and Works

This is my first paper cut out poster,

however it looks quite cliché, so I tried

another idea for paper cut out and

silhouette style.

I sketched my second idea and made it

into a poster. It’s difficult to make it

into a bookmark so I changed a little

bit so that it will fit the bookmark size.

Second Poster1. Inspirations

For my second poster, I decided to use

negative space illustration. Since Coraline is a

dark fantasy movie, this style may fit its poster

very well.

2. Sketches and Works

I sketched my ideas for both

bookmark and poster. They may look

a little different but actually both of

them have the same style and have

black, white, red as 3 main color.

3. Final Artwork

Because of the illustration type, I used

Photoshop to add a few words only. I

also wrote some words by hand so

that I don’t have to waste time

choosing the fonts.
