Setting up your student E-mail

Student email is accessible from Moodle.

You will be taken to Windows Live ID and your email address will be: your student [email protected]

and the password, which is not the same as your college password, will be your date of birth in the following format: 01apr1989 Microsoft Outlook Live will force you to change your password immediately to avoid unnecessary intrusion. Check your email often!

Using Moodle

Once logged in to the library PCs you can launch your internet browser The home page is pre-set to the college Moodle pages which you can then either use the quick links to get to Google, email, the main website, initial assessment etc. or log in using your network log in and password as overleaf. When logged in you can see all your college course information and also get on to the Student Services section, Careers and Guidance section and the Library pages where there are many links to help you with your course work.

Access from Home

You can access many features from home: http://moodle.midchesh.ac.uk (click on the library central logo to access library info) http://library.midchesh.ac.uk (this link is for the library catalogue) http://pcbooker.midchesh.ac.uk (this link enables you to book library PCs from anywhere) http://librarycentralmcc.blogspot.co.uk (this link takes you to the library blog to keep up to date) IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, JUST ASK A MEMBER
