Performing Passive Range of Motion (ROM):

Head and neck

Chin-to-chest.

Head turns.

Head tilts.

Shoulders and Elbows

Shoulder movement, up and down.

Shoulder rotation Elbow bends, up and down. Elbow bends, side to side.

Hands, Wrists and Fingers Wrist rotation. Palm up, palm down. Keep the

elbow and forearm on the bed and raise the hand. Gently twist palm in up and down manner.

(Repeat the above exercises with the left arm.)

Finger bends. Gently bend your hand into a fist. Straighten the fingers again.

Finger spreads. Gently straighten you’re your fingers. Spread the fingers wide apart, one at a time. Then bring the fingers back together.

Finger-to-thumb touches. One at a time, bring each fingertip to touch the thumb.

Thumb-to-palm. Move the thumb across your palm. Bring it back out again.

(Repeat the above exercises with the left thumb and fingers.)

Hips and Knee Hip and knee bends. Leg movement, side to side. Leg rotation, in and out. Knee rotation, in and out.

Ankle and Foot Ankle bends. Ankle rotation. Toe bends. Toe bends.

VICES:1. Avoid exposure to alcohol drinking

and / or o not drink alcohol.

2. If urge to drink, do divertional activities such as watching TV and / or rather drink alternative drinks such as citrus juices.

3. Avoid exposure with drinking buddies for the mean time.

DIET:

2. Avoid / minimize red meat such as pork and beef. Lean meat is most preferable. Chicken meat and fish meat is also best.

3. Avoid / minimize frozen and processed foods such as hotdog and also those that are in cans such as corned beef.

4. Eat green leafy vegetables and fruits.

5. Drink a lot of water completing 2 – 3 liters or as tolerated.
