The 6th Annual Middle East FireSafe Forum was held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai between the 14 - 16 September 2015. The forum was Officially Supported By Directorate General of Civil Defence - Dubai and saw the inaugural keynote address delivered by Major General Expert Rashid Thani AlMatroushi FIFireE General Director of Directorate Civil Defence Dubai.

The conference also saw leading trade bodies National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), The institution of Fire Engineers(UK) - Singapore Branch, The International Water Mist Association, and FireStop Contractors International Association (FCIA) as Fire Advocacy Partners to the event.

The three day forum featured 23 key sessions that included 6 casestudies, 3 panel discussions, 2 industry workshops and a Leaders Inspiration session with key fire leaders discussing fire cases of their choice that compelled change in fire safety rules and regulations. The expert speakers and panelists represented various government, oil & gas, construction, transport, standardization and trade bodies.

Leading service providers in the domain of fire safety like TornaTech, Koffel Associates, Thomas Bell-Wright International Consultants (TBWIC), Central Ventilation Systems (CVS), Knauf, Promat, Volkan, YOKOI MFG, KATMERCILER, The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Tenable and BM Trada were key supporters of the event.

This post show report will summarise the 2015 event based on feedback from the attendees at the forum.
