Group presentation Post reflection 1. Describe how you and your partners worked on this assignment. Describe the work that you did together and individually with your partners for this assignment. In our group we first started off with everyone reading the chapter and then we met and discussed what we thought of the chapter. After meeting for the first time, we split up the book into 4 sections then took detailed notes of our own section. We did not agree with the chapter so we created questions that we were all going to ask an experienced teacher. We sent our information to Brandon who was creating the Prezi. We met again to make sure we were on the right track and create our lesson plan. I was in charge of making the study guide. The next time we met we wanted to be ready to pre-run our presentation but didn’t end up with enough time. We met for the last time with everything complete and did a practice run. 2. Did you feel your lesson plan and presentation were effective? Did your team achieve what they wanted to accomplish? Did you achieve what you wanted to accomplish? I believe that our presentation and lesson plan turned out very well. While practicing we were all nervous and wanted to make sure we were speaking loud enough. I am very pleases with our presentation and the way our group worked together. 3. How did you feel before, during, and after your class presentation? Why did you feel this way? I was very nervous throughout, not because I didn’t feel prepared but I always want to do the best I can. After the class presentation I felt very good about how it went. 4. What were the strengths/weaknesses of your collaborative presentation? What were the strengths/weaknesses of your individual presentation skills?

Our strengths about our group were that the amount of work was spread out even. When we got together we all put a lot of input to what we thought we should do and respected each other’s opinions. Our weaknesses would be communication as to what exactly was going on and how far along everyone was with their sections. My strengths are that with group projects I want to make sure that all the work is being done and putting as much input together. My weakness is defiantly public speaking. I do it a lot but every time I get nervous. 5. Describe what you would do differently if you could change your presentation. Why? I would have liked to meet one or two more times before the presentation day. I felt as if it was difficult to communicate over blackboard email what exactly we were doing with our presentation.
