Opening: Animated F9 Films Ident Black Screen Comes on Radio / News Broadcasts and the

flicking of radio stations can be heard in the background the ti-tles / Credits come on the screen (white on black). Then the title of the film is displayed “DEFY” it Pauses for two seconds and the definition of defy comes on screen alongside the title.

1. The shot cuts to a young person in a rundown building he is stood by a radio flicking through the stations which links to the title sequence of the news reporters speaking out the news.

2. He the walks over to a messy desk that has a computer with sev-eral screens around him the desk is messy he sits down on a old chair and starts typing fast. Originally we are looking at him from a high angle and then we change to a mid angle sweeping shot showing the whole desk eventually cutting to a close up of just his hands typing.

3. An alarm goes of and a light starts flashing in the corner of his eye. The ‘hacker’ (protagonist) looking panicked he looks at a screen with an video feed of outside a the gate (camera posi-tioned at a high angle) There are people outside trying to get in to the compound (who we assume are police)

4. He runs over to the radio turns it off and then frantically is trying to pack up his laptop and his stuff into his bag it next then cuts to a shot of the people that were outside the gate out side the door trying to pick the lock.

5. They then manage to break in and look in the downstairs for the protagonist.

6. He then runs upstairs looking for him but can not hear him so but he then hears a noise outside the windward runs to look in it he sees the man driving / running away he then moves away from the window.

7. He starts shouting “NO… NO… SH*T” he then duck over with his head in his hands and looks annoyed.
