Post-Production Analysis

This is the original image, pre-modification. It was taken on an Olympus EM-10 camera and edited in Photoshop.

Using the crop tool I adjusted the size of the image to fit into the shape of the front cover of the digipack.

I adjusted the images colouring so that the digipack would fit into the stereotypical ‘Indie Rock’ genre. I clicked on the ‘Black and White’ settings and adjusted the yellows, reds and greens. I continued to do so until the image of the angel was darker than the background.

Once happy with the colouring of the image, I wanted to drag it on the digipack template I had created. To do so, I right clicked on the layers and clicked ‘Merge Visable’. This merged the layers together and locked them so that they could not be changed or effected by any settings on the digipack template page. I then dragged this imaged onto my CD digpack template to start creating my front cover image.
