positivity retreat programme outline During this retreat, you will be guided by some of Amsterdam’s finest health & wellness professionals, to achieve balance in your body and mind and kick off your healthy lifestyle once more. Upon arrival, you will have the time to check into your cozy home for the retreat: the Zoku Loft. At 18.00, a healthy nutritious dinner will be waiting for you and you will have the time to get to know your fellow participants and kick off the retreat. We will guide you on this journey and explain all about making the most of this retreat right now, during and afterwards. The retreat is set up in a way where we’ve created a good flow for you throughout your day. In the mornings, you can choose to do a morning self-meditation in your Loft (your choice, you can choose from any of The House of Yoga’s meditation recordings). If you’d rather sleep a bit more, that’s totally fine. All you need to do is roll out of bed a little before 7.00 to join a lovely wake up Vinyasa yoga with Delight’s yoga. She will reveal the day’s theme with to you during this class. This theme you can take on and reflect on throughout the day until the workshop at 16.30. A cup of delicious detox tea and healthy breakfast await you after your yoga class. You will be picked up by your personal HighStudios trainer for a bootcamp outside after breakfast. This class will be your daily active part, focusing on strengthening your body. After a busy morning and a healthy snack, we feel you deserve to relax and enjoy your free time before your tasty lunch. After lunch, should you want to take time for an afternoon nap, you have the perfect opportunity to do so. You will also get some time to reflect on the day’s theme, write in your retreat journal and if you get hungry, we have a healthy afternoon snack awaiting you in your Retreat Living Room. Later in the afternoon you will join a workshop to discuss the day’s theme together with other retreat participants and to reflect and philosophize some more. Workshops make us hungry, so when dinner time comes around you can take a little break to enjoy the Amsterdam views and a healthy meal. The evening activity is designed to relax you and inspire you. It differs per day: yin yoga to relax your muscles, a sound bath meditation to bring body and mind at ease or a yoga Nidra to fully relax. Feel like rounding off your day with a cup of tea? Join others in our Retreat Living Room for a cup afterwards. On your day of departure, we serve you a nutritious breakfast and round off the retreat with a workshop session.
