Position of sociology in contemporary artBy: Mr Davood NavabiAsl Art is present in all stages of the human individual and social life. Relationship between art and society can be done in different ways. Social studies and sociology of art can be helped to express the issues. Contemporary art has experienced dramatic changes in representation of social concepts it seems very important. Sociology studies both theoretical and practical level occurs. Theoretical level is the main axis of the subject, discussing concepts like validity, truth, freedom and limitation in art. In practical and experimental research, sociologists are willing to review an artist works and lives. This article is more emphasis on theoretical and practical cases In this article, the relationship between art and society, and we focus on such as the sociology of art and different perspectives in the sociology of art are discussed, which helps to understand the relationship between art and society. These efforts form shall be in line with the position of sociology in contemporary art.
