• Child of Cronus and Rhea(When he was born, he was swallowed by

his father Cronus but he was rescued by her Mother Rhea and tricked Cronus. Instead of Poseidon he swallowed a horse.)

• His siblings are Zeus, Hades, Demeter, Hestia, and Hera.

Family History

• Poseidon is always represented armed with trident and riding at chariot which dragged by a half horse and half snake animal. It is surrounded by fishes, dolphins and all kinds of marine animals.

• Poseidon was a moody god His temper sometimes caused violence. When he was angry or in a bad mood he would flood cities or cause droughts.

• Poseidon looked very similar to Zeus, though he was thought to be more dark and evil than him. Poseidon had a grey hair and beard. He is often shown wearing the color blue.
