Ascended Lady Master Portia, also known as "The Goddess ofJustice" and "The Goddess of Opportunity", represents divine

justice and opportunity for this planet. Opportunity has been definedas: The Open Portal to Unity. Justice has been spiritually describedas love's great opportunity to right all wrong and balance life'smisqualified energies. Because Portia's action is that of balance,her symbol is the scale of justice.

THE SCALES OF JUSTICE

According to Mark and Elizabeth Prophet:"In this hour of reckoning comes the Angel ofOpportunity sent forth by Portia, the Goddess ofJustice. During Portia's last lifetime on Earth, she was a lawyer whoserved on the Council of Law. She made her ascension with one ofthe early lifewaves, before evil was introduced on Earth. Sheremained in the great silence of the inner spheres for manymillennia, coming forth for the first time in 1939. She came to assisther divine complement, Ascended Master Saint Germain, while hewas working with Mr. Ballard, founder of the Saint Germain I AmFoundation.

When she returned to Earth, she set Cosmic Justice intoaction. She can now be called on to help others with their legal

actions. She knew that the scales of justice had to be balanced inpreparation for the emerging Golden Age of Aquarius. This is thepurpose of the Violet Flame vials of purification, spoken of in theBook of Revelation, that are being held at Archangel Zadkiel'sEtheric Retreat over Cuba.

As the embodiment of mercy and representative of theViolet Ray, Portia became one of the members of the KarmicBoard.

In 1954, she was chosen as their spokesman, taking over

the position that had been held by Kuan Yin. She will hold thisposition for 2,160 years, the beginning of the next era, the Age ofCapricorn. Due to her qualities of mercy, justice and opportunity,there is much more freedom now than there was before she

became the spokesman.Portia's Etheric Retreat, where she focuses the Flame of

Justice, is over Ghana, Africa. The Elohim of the Violet Ray,Arcturus and Victoria, focus the Freedom Flame in Luanda, Angola,

just to the south of Ghana. In Accra, the capital of Ghana, there is amonument known as the Freedom and Justice Arch. It serves asan outer arc of the inner retreat flames of Portia and Arcturus. Herelectronic pattern is the scales of justice; her keynote is the"Rakoczy March".

WHAT IS JUSTICE?

Portia, the Goddess of Justice, said in April, 1954:

The Law of Cosmic Justice is that no soul can be

denied opportunity when it asks for it. We havegiven you opportunity which you accepted. Hence,the service which has been rendered to those whohave passed on, and those who are coming intoembodiment, is proof of what opportunity can dowhen it is accepted." Portia, the open portal to unity, works under the influence ofLibra to balance the scales of justice for mankind. Knowing there isno freedom without justice, she serves on the Karmic Board to helpbalance karma, both individual and planetary. She urges us to be

just to others and warns against untruth. Knowing that imbalance isdestroyed by the flame of truth, her mercy mixed with justiceweaves a garland around the altar of truth.

Her scales of justice help us to achieve mastery over ourfour elements and to strike a balance between our masculine andfeminine rays, thereby blending the yin/yang of creation. Because

justice is the pivot point between thought and feeling, she helps usto avoid being undone by twisted thoughts and actions. She also

offers us opportunity, assuring us that no one can be deniedopportunity when he asks for it.

TAROT CARD REPRESENTING JUSTICE:

The quality of justice is represented in the tarot card deck asa woman sitting on a throne with a sword in one hand and a scaleof justice in the other. She is the lawgiver, ruled by the astrologicalsign of Libra. She symbolizes the fact that only balanced forces canendure; that imbalance is destroyed by the sword of truth. She isoften depicted with her long hair in a braid that is capable of

strangling like a hangman's knot. This symbolizes that one can beundone by his own twisted thoughts and actions. Justice is alsodepicted as being blindfolded or has her eyes closed so she will not

be influenced by outer appearances. She looks only upon theintentions of the heart.

"My lovely, precious light workers. Good evening. Iam the Ascended Lady Master Portia, known as theGoddess of Justice. . . . Perhaps you have seen mysymbol which is on the court houses, especially inthe United States of America. I know it is also usedin other countries. If you have seen this symbol, youknow that as I am depicted there, holding the scale,that it means justice and balance, and this is what I

try to maintain. My work is very, very heavy, becauseat this time in your world there is much injustice. Iregret to tell you this, but there is much injustice

because of the grafts, the political occurrencesthroughout the world. In general the scales havebeen tipped too far one way, in most instances."I was the one who prompted the hearts of theleaders to form a way of justice in the court rooms,and I am proud to say that when this was formulatedand put into practice, it was a very large step forwardin creating justice, equality among people; becausewhen the juries were formed it gave the people anopportunity to take part in helping to judge the rightand the wrong, the just or the injustice, of a case. I

am very happy to tell you of this tonight, for had itnot been for the jury system, there would be muchmore injustice practiced in your world."The scales represent justice, balance, equality, andwhen they are tipped too far one way or the other,there is not the balance, or the harmony, or the

justice, which should be meted out to those who arebeing judged. So it is our job, and I say ours,because I have many helpers. We are all over theworld trying to help this situation. Although we arenot able to control it completely, we have done muchtoward this achievement. . . .

"Blessed ones, try to remember what the scalesmean, and it is paramount that you should weighevery item, every problem you should ever have inyour lifetime. It is so important that you weigh theseproblems, to be certain that the scale becomes asbalanced as possible. I know that it is not alwayspossible to be balanced, dear ones, but try to makeit as much so as you can. I am offering my servicesto all of you who may need them and I will help you,if you will call upon me. . . I know that the problemsof the world today are very great, and all of you havethem. Let me help you I shall be waiting for your call,

because this is part of my work, not only in theUnited States of America, but all over the world."When I had an earth life, a very long time ago, I

lived it as a lawyer. In those days it was not actuallyaccepted, for a woman to become a lawyer. I did it insuch a manner that I counseled with people to helpthem in this way, but actually I was known as acounselor at law. I am still performing this duty and Iwill help all of you. . . WHAT IS OPPORTUNITY?

Concerning opportunity, Portia says, through Geraldine Innocenti, inFebruary, 1955:

"Many a salty tear has been shed; many haveexperienced the feeling of deep remorse that hasrisen within the soul when Opportunity to serve hasfled. In your Earth plane, there are those you haveeither neglected or ignored and who are no longerwith you. How often you have wished that you hadopportunity again to do for them the little things thatwould have made life easier, to have said the kindwords, to have given them the encouragement, tohave provided some comfort, perhaps of a smallnature, that would have given the loved one aneasier pathway through the world of form. Of all sad

words and tongue and pen, the saddest of all is: 'Itmight have been.'"Beloved ones, today is your day of opportunity!

Today you have a beating heart; beautiful primal lifeis given to you. You awaken each morning with thatlife. You have enough knowledge of the law as weindividually have been able to give to you and eachof you have certain momentums of good in yourcausal body; certain understanding, certainmomentums of healing."You have opportunity without limit to assist in thecosmic momentum of each hour. PORTIAS WORK WITH OTHER GREAT BEINGS:

As Chohan of Violet Ray, with Saint Germain, she works totransmute all things less than the light. What a dynamic duo sheand Saint Germain make, and how fortunate we are to have themas Directors for the Aquarian Age.

In addition to this, Portia also works with the great cosmicbeing, Cosmos, who came to Earth in 1939 to release the cosmiclight in two of the Five Secret Rays. In an effort to change theactivities of the law and bring forth the eighth and ninth rays,Cosmos anchored the masculine ray to the North Pole; the feminineray to the South Pole. His coming changed the activity of the lawsfor Earth. Cosmos, Portia and Saint Germain form a three-foldaction for the Aquarian Age.

Portia also works with Gautama Buddha, Lord of the World,as well as with Pelleur, the directing intelligence of the activities inthe center of the Earth. Pelleur helps those in the Inner Earth andbalances the energies at the center of the Earth. (Because

Buddha's quality is also balance, Portia blends with them perfectly,thus forming another three-fold action.

PORTIAS WORK WITH MOTHER MARY:

In 1954, Portia also assumed the position of "Queen ofHeaven" from Mother Mary, who had held that office for the past2,000 years of the Piscean Age. Mary will now assume a different,and more-elevated, position, for even the Divine Beings areevolving.

When Portia took over as "Queen of Heaven", or "Mother ofthe Earth", Mother Mary, in her great compassion for mankind,

asked this blessing for the incoming souls:

embody this year (1954), many of them with karmaof great weight. It is my joy and privilege to petitionthe council on behalf of every lifestream who is toembody this year. . . . To give them garments thatthey could occupy with ease and peace, andsensitive to their own Christ Selves, and give themopportunity, each one. When Mother Mary asked this favor of the Karmic Board,Portia said opportunity was in her hands, and that opportunity wouldallow Mary's request to be granted. Portia then suggested that Marycall to Archangel Gabriel for his flame to enter the consciousness ofevery woman with child and all about to conceive. She suggestedMary's coupling her immaculate concept and holding that pattern inher mind and that purity in her feelings.

Mary responded that Gabriel would stand beside everywoman who has conceived and every potential one, and that theywould direct that concept into the mind. Then Mary asked ifsomething could be done about the elemental substance the soul

had earned. Portia replied that the Lord Maha Chohan, who holdsthe office of the Holy Spirit and is the great intelligence governing allelemental life, would no doubt command that life back into its purity.Since he gives the first breath, she said, ask his assistance at thetime of conception rather than at birth. Coupled with SaintGermains Fire, let us see what can be done. As Queen of Heavenand Mother of the Earth, a role assumed from Mother Mary, Portiahelps all incoming souls. LACK OF ATTENTION GIVEN TO THE GODDESS ROLES:

The Goddess of Justice (Portia), the Goddess of Truth, and

the Goddess of Purity, three of the most magnificent beings inheaven, get very little magnetization from the earth plane, becausepeople are afraid of justice, truth and purity. Portia stated in June

"Now, divine justice is not too popular a subject and,as a matter of fact, the presence of neither theGoddess of Purity nor myself is too much called foror sought after among mankind. Our lovely sister oflight, Kuan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) is called intoaction here much more often than me, for mercymakes one feel so comfortable and brings a sweetsense of forgiveness and release. This of course isbecause of the feeling within it of the freeing power

of the Violet Transmuting Flame."Oh beloved ones, mankind is so bent on having

justice for themselves, but how many are anxiouslywilling to give justice to life? And where should

justice be given first? Should it not be given to themost important being in the universe to eachlifestream - his own beloved I Am Presence, thesource of his life? It is time to stopmanipulating people! It is time to bring love into thedecisions of the court! It is time to bring the rightnessof the Constitution into the courts! Two weeks after the Coronation of Saint Germain and

Portia as Directors for the Aquarian Age, Saint Germain describedthe formation of the etheric temple above Transylvania.

"We have twelve masters at Transylvania, andtonight we have many thousands. Thus the cosmicactivity and the human expand hand in hand. Abovethe great focus of the Freedom Flame, the buildersof form have crated a magnificent Violet FlameTemple, and they will allow it to remain as apermanent focus in the lower atmosphere which willbe very beneficial to Europe and the conditions ofAsia Minor. It is formed like a Maltese Cross in honorof my lifestream. The assembly is all seated facingthe center where the cross beam and the length

beam meet. The altar is a three-tiered white marblecircle in that center. After this tremendous amount of preparation--expanding theFreedom Flame and creating the etheric temple over Transylvania,a portion of the flame was then transferred to the WesternHemispheres. In another message Saint Germain described thisprocess:

"When I chose then to draw forth the FreedomFlame, it took a long time for me to again bring it intothe physical appearance world and anchor it withinthe heart of the magnificent retreat in Transylvania."Now because of the coming of the seventh root

race, I have asked the Karmic Board for the privilegeof bringing that concentrate into the WesternHemisphere to render the service, that it mayprepare the lower atmosphere of the Earth for thoselifestreams who will embody."In Transylvania tonight are gathered all the beingsand powers that have loved and served freedom formany ages. Over the retreat is the greatamphitheater made of the most exquisite purplemarble-like substance, studded with amethysts. It islarge enough to accommodate the vast numbers ofvisitors from the various realms. Standing as the

presiding master is my divine friend, the GreatDivine Director who was my guru, my guide, and mycounsel for many ages. With him stands theGoddess of Justice (Portia). Here in the WesternHemisphere, bridging the Atlantic Ocean, stand theGoddess of Mercy (Kuan Yin) and myself. Over yourbreath tonight comes the concentrate and the powerof the Freedom Flame.

You will note in the following map that the areas where theViolet Flame are anchored form somewhat of a framework aroundold Atlantis, that is soon to rise again. This shows us quite clearly

that the impetus of the new golden Age of Aquarius, which comesunder the influence of the violet ray and is directed by the violet raymasters, Saint Germain and Portia, will center in the Western rather

than the Eastern Hemisphere. The frequency of the WesternHemisphere is feminine, while the Eastern Hemisphere ismasculine. The Aquarian Age emphasis is on the feminine, hencethe importance of the different Goddesses and the Mother Ray.

PORTIAS RELATIONSHIP WITH SAINT GERMAIN:

Portia also serves with Saint Germain as Chohan of theViolet Ray and director of the Aquarian Age. In one of SaintGermain's messages, he said concerning his partner, Portia:

"This morning, in her cosmic activity, beloved Portiaas representative and spokesman of the KarmicBoard, asked me if I had charted the heavens as oftoday. Her question was enough to send meimmediately to see what was ahead."

Later, in the same message, he referred to her lovingly:

"A handful of men in the heart of Philadelphia not solong ago risked life, property, and fortune to call forththe independence of this nation, this nation which isthe heart of the planet and the hope of the world andwhich is as much a part of my beating heart as isPortia my own beloved." On another occasion, Saint Germain related:

"The equation of living on Terra can be stated: Thelaw, plus you, plus karma and dharma equals thedivine plan manifest as circumstance in time andspace. In a dictated message from Portia, she affectionately calls

her mate by the pet name, "Germain", rather than Saint Germain.She says:

"In the golden age, which you are striving toward,there will be enough money for all. There will beenough security. There will be enough hope. Therewill be enough joy for all to partake in, so this is+another visualization I would like you to make andto keep in your meditations. It is a visualization of theEarth surrounded in gold, a beautiful golden color,which symbolizes the golden age. This age is inprophecy. This age is coming to your planet. We areassisting in pushing this forth from the finerdimensions. We are succeeding; your vibrations are

raising; it is all happening, dear ones. It happensgradually, it happens almost imperceptibly at times,little by little, and so I cannot say all this will changetomorrow or next week. That is why thevisualizations I've given you will help to push thisforward."Share these visualizations with others because themore people who are ready and waiting for thegolden age to be present on your planet, then thefaster it will occur, dear ones. When that happensand you are well into the golden age, you will findthat you, just like Germain, will be popping around

the planet! Now please don't think I'm disrespectfulwhen I call Germain by that single name. That isindeed, my pet name for him and he knows it. Ourlove goes to you. We are both working towardsbringing your planet's vibrations up so you will beable to enjoy the golden age soon. There are otherascended masters and there are other cosmicteachers who are doing the same thing. There arehundreds of millions of spiritual beings who arehelping. This includes those in the spirit worldconnected with your planet. They also includebeings from other planets and other star systems.

There are many interested beings and people whoare watching what is occurring on Earth with joy,with concern and with an attitude of assisting."

adored and adorable 'Francis' (which name means'Freedom' and by which he is known at inner levels,but better known to his chelas in the world of form asSaint Germain, which means 'Holy Brother') and isso symbolical of the one who has given so much ofhimself to the bringing forth, sustaining, andexpanding on earth world brotherhood, uniting theChrist Natures of all everywhere."May I very kindly and yet truthfully say that it isreally not within the understanding of an unascendedbeing to be able either to cognize intellectually orfeel emotionally, the depths and breadths of our love

RAISING THE STANDARD FOR WOMEN:

In a channeled message, Portia stated:

"Because there are a lot of changes expected on theEarth with regard to business, banking, and personalsecurity, I wanted to speak with you about thewoman's part in their own particular partnerships inthe world. It has been traditional for the male in thefamily to be the breadwinner and it has beentraditional for the female to stay closer to homeand/or work out of the home plus in the home. In anycase, I feel the woman has worked harder and nothad the advantage of being in control of the familyfinances because that has traditionally been left withthe male. . . . It is time for a change with regard to

this situation in the family and I know and realize thatmany couples have a very amenable agreementbetween them whereby the money situation ishandled. I know also that there are many women onthe streets trying to make a living in any way theycan. There are children coming up who will walksoon in their mother's footsteps where there seemsno alternative but to live in deplorable conditions."I want to raise the standard for women on yourplanet to the beauty, the love, and the joy that she is,to the strength and the power that is within her andto the happiness and the harmony that she brings to

In a beautiful channeling from Molly Rowland, at Voice ofthe Gatekeepers, Portia speaks on the "Affairs of the Heart":

"I am Portia, and it is that I bring to you in this time, agreeting of love, to understand that this divinerelationship that I have with the Master SaintGermain is not a relationship that human beingswould necessarily understand. For they would say,here is a man and here is a woman, and they aregoing through all of their conflicts to have a

relationship. And yet it is in our places that energymerges, and therefore we share ideas by merging;we share love by merging; we share our dreams bymerging; and we merge our energies. I may send athought, a bubble of light, and my beloved sends athought, a bubble of light, and those two bubbles jointogether and we delight in the experience of theenergy shared. For it is not that we have lostourselves by giving our ideas but that we havemerged our ideas together, therefore, we can find inthat energy the highest and best of what we haveshared with each other, a blending of how it would

go forward, rather than my idea is better, or youhave no thoughts that are worthy, which so oftenoccurs in relationship in this place. Or that man hasa certain role to play and woman has a certain roleto play, and in these times, up to this time, thewoman's role has been established as the support ofthe man, to look good, to say the right thing, to carefor his needs, to be there for him, but not necessarilyto be who she is."In the places of mastery, we are very clear who weare. There is no doubt who we are, and therefore,we are not in conflict in our relationships with each

not a great emissary, but I am a teacher of justiceand balance, and yet the justice that I would teachwould be the harmonious interaction of all aspects ofany situation rather than because you have lived theright way, done the right thing, thought the rightthings, said the right things, then you are worthy ofthe justice, and they who have not measured up willbe punished. That is an old order of separation, andGod never created in that way. Humanity createdthose thoughts, those beliefs for this game ofseparation."I stand equally with my beloved. I am divine

counterpart, and we look upon each other in a senseof respect, and awe, and love of what each one ofus can bring to the relationship for the other. And soit is, we are ONE. We are two aspects of the samesoul. I present myself to you as woman, and yet inthe beginning when this soul separated, I was themasculine aspect. And my beloved, who presentshimself now in these times to you as a man, was thefeminine aspect. And so as we return together inthese times, showing you about at-one-ment, wereturn with what you might call the cross polarity. Sothat I exhibit as a whole, a woman, but of masculine

nature, and he exhibits as a whole a man, but offeminine nature, and that those two aspects blend tocreate a oneness, a holiness of god/goddess all that

is, not man or woman separate, not positive ornegative polarity pulling apart, but the magneticattraction of love that makes one thing, one unit, onewhole."And so as we would speak of 'Affairs of the Heart',perhaps I might speak to you now of the affairs ofthe soul, for our relationship is not only a heartrelationship, it is a soul relationship. It is the spiritrelationship for we are indeed ONE; two functioningas one. But not in the sense of the earth: we arenow one and that means one says how it will be and

the other one submits. We are now one, but I mighthonor that you are all that I am; that you are belovedunto us; that you are. if not in agreement, certainly inhonor and respect of all that I am. And these are thegifts, the teachings that we would bring, thatharmony emerges from the level self, that balanceoccurs when you are willing to bring all aspects ofyourself together and allow yourself to be holy, onewith who you are. That justice in the sense of thehighest understanding is for the highest good for allconcerned."The human mind cannot comprehend that everyone

could possibly benefit from any given situation.There are those that would say, you will win and Iwill lose, and yet in the divine understanding, there isalways brought to each one in the situation, the giftsthat they will accept and the love. And so, becausethose gifts are brought, if they will accept them, theywill receive the best from the situation no matter howit may appear to be satisfied. But if they are willing toreceive those gifts, even though the outcome for themoment might appear to be in their favor, they willrefuse the gifts, and as time passes they will feel theseparation from their acceptance of the loss that is

offered them in any given situation. It is the choicefrom within to accept the gifts that are brought, for itis never the situation itself, but how each entity

chooses to accept that situation, receive it, to allowthe best of it to come to them. And so in divine

justice quite recently those that would appear likehuman justice to be losers, then emerge from thesituation to be winner, and those that would appearto be winners, may find that they hold within theirhead a sense of loss."And so it really is not about a judgment by a king, a

judge, a ruler of any kind. It isn't about the judgmentthat God would meet out. For God set divine justiceand harmony into motion when all this was created.

And humanity has, like justice, become blind to theoutcome of good."I want to be a winner, but what does this mean towin? To win is not simply to have some judgmentmade in your own favor. To win is to allow yourselfto overcome, and to find the seeds of good in everysituation no matter what it is, and so the union ofsouls. For as you allow yourselves to raise yourfrequency, you begin to experience love on the otherside of the veil as something far sweeter and moreinclusive than anything that you could imagine in thelimited ways of the world.

"Beyond the veil is not death, beyond the veil issurrender. Beyond the veil is not going somewhereelse for were you not in love with yourself here, youmore than likely would not be in love with yourselfthere. But in this place, in this time, as you stepbeyond the veil, you allow yourself the acceptance oflove in this place, in this body, in this time, but itchanges how your body functions. It changes thecellular structure, it changes the DNA, it changes thephysical appearance, it changes the emotionalnature, and therefore, as you allow yourselves inlove, the heart opening, to accept the full service of

all that God would give you. You simply step throughthe veil. You could be walking down a street and inthat moment, from the Lord God of your being,

make the choice in love, not intellectually, but fromyour soul to step through the veil. And the next stepthat you take will allow you to step through the veil,and you may shake your head, feel a bit different inyour body, see more light, experience more color,feel more love, from one step to the next. And then itis your choice, your discipline to remain that state ofgrace or to step back. . . ."You are being offered so much assistance in thesetimes. All of us that are working with the Council ofLight are working with you in this time. We are all

available to you. We are all here now if you wouldcall, we are there. Your part of it is to open, torecognize, to accept, to allow that we are here withyou and willing to save you; that we are not spiritualsnobs believing that because we have alreadyentered the state of Ascension that we are in turnmama superior to our brothers and sisters who havenot been. We are here to assist you along the way.Not to judge your measure but to offer you theguidance, the encouragement, the assistance, theembrace of love that is required for your overcoming. We will give you a hand up, but if you would

become dead weight, when we offer the hand, thenperhaps we would be required to let go. For this is aprocess of mutual involvement that we will lift you upas you are willing to lift you up; that we will assistyou to see as you are willing to see. That we cangive you all that you are willing to accept, but wecannot make you accept anything that we feel wouldbe good for you. . . ."We are here, heart to heart, soul to soul, mind tomind, with everyone that is on the ball in this time.You are being drenched in the essence of love.Some are soaking it up like a rain-starved desert
