• Technical Artistry provides lighting design, specification and technical consultation. Our specialty is providing elegant solutionsthat fulfill unique or difficult technicalrequirements.
• We do not ascribe to the standard operatingphilosophy that the best solution to aproblem comes at the highest cost. We are budget sensitive. We are savvy about alternative materials and techniques. And we know the available resources. We advocate the use of recycled and energy efficientproducts and consider daily use specifications and long term maintenancepart of our design considerations.

• Our organization is small and flexible. We have a roster of talented individuals andwho are each pursuing careers in their areasof expertise. Calling upon these individualsas needed allows us to function on aper-project, and also to benefit from therich collaboration of experienced specialists.
• We run the gamut of design possibilities;from achieving historical accuracy to working in cutting edge technologies and materials.Rather than strive for a particular “style” thatwould identify Technical Artistry, we seek theunique qualities in each assignment from whichan aesthetic is determined.

• Our experience and background in lightingallows us to offer a wide variety of services, from designing traditional illuminationsystems to reinventing the way lightcan be used in museums and exhibitions. We temper a strong aesthetic sense withmechanical and electrical knowledgein order to assure lighting choices that work.
• Our approach in lighting is to be highlyresponsive to the subject being lit. We oftenincorporate a variety of lighting fixtures, drawingfrom commercial, theatrical, interior /exteriorlighting, customized lighting fixtures or lighting“objects.” We come from a theatrical and industrialbackground, so we have experience with a broadcolor palette and range of intensities.
