ObjectiveUsing InDesign and Illustrator we needed to crete a logo for a fictitious companyWe were also requested to create 3 variations

ProcessThis logo is for an aviary, I like birds a lot so I decided to cre-ate this company and logo making an emphasis on the feath-ers, which are the most beautiful (for me) thing of birds.For this project I used Adobe Illustrator, this program is just great to design logos. I mainly used the pen tool for everything.The color scheme I used is Tetradic and Monochromatic for the white space version, the colors: Red, Orange, Lime and Teal, and Red.

ObjectiveUsing different images we had to combine them and create a spiritual montage

ProcessFor this project I began using a picture of my own. I used photo-shop to edit it and refine it. It is an 8.5 x 11 project. I looked for various types of textures at the internet to add to my project. The main image was left intact while the other layers were reduced in their opacity and I used the overlay tool. In the end I used the black and white filter to give the final look.

ObjectiveA photodesign project that included an original quality image of my own, a color scheme based on that image, some text, and a few design elements

ProcessI focused my project in wanting people to know that Star Wars is awesome and Legos are too. With an image of my own I used Photoshop to edit the image with the Levels, Saturation, Sharpen Tool and Color Balance. Doing this project taught me how to make a common picture into something more remarkable. The color scheme I used is Big Split Complementary: red, yellow, purple and blue.

ObjectiveA flier for a benefit event for a benefactor of my choice

ProcessThis is an event ad for people to go and clean marginalized zones of Mexico City. This event will take place in Mexico City in “El Ángel de la Independencia” a very iconic place in the city, so that is why its the main focal point of my design. This project was all created in Microsoft Word, I used shapes and different tones of Indigo.I used contrast go the indigo with white and added black.

ObjectiveA company with low budget asked me to create a news flier in InDesign. They provided the information, a logo, and one image to use.

ProcessThis flier is tend to invite all BYUI students to come and partake of the new Ca-poeira class. Using InDesign I created this flier, using only black, white and gray scales. The image was provided by BYUI and so was the logo. Using the contrast of the image I tried to keep it simple. Black rectangles were use to create repeti-tion.

ObjectiveThe project was to design a full-color, folding brochure to help promote the company product, service or location

ProcessThis is two sided duplex brochure for a fictitious company that is all about Star Wars. I love Star Wars so I decided to create this company and logo using lightsabers as the main shape. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the logo and played with the Avenir font which is my favorite to make the company’s name look nice, I designed the lightsabers and they are not images from the internet. I added them color and played with their alignment. Then in Adobe InDesign I created a brochure. I down-loaded four images from the internet and with the text wrap added text to them. I played with the color red and some shapes using also opacity on them.

ProcessInspired by the new James Bond movie I decided to create a logo and a company about bodyguards. I had so much fun doing this project. I used the Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator and the skills we learned at COMM 130 class. For the logo I first created the silhouette of one hand and knife and the made a copy of it, flipped it and that is how I had both hands. I used red and black. For the letter head I took the logo and made it bigger, I used two of them one as a head and the other as a body mark with an opacity of 8%.
