Visited Japan, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. The objective of this meet was to work

on broadening the scale and scope of research and education on Peace and fostering experts on

peace-building and conflict prevention. Conflict Studies [and Work as a new member university.

Placing its specific focus on PCS, the GCP has implemented online lectures with video

conferencing system and collaborative research in order to establish international cooperative

networks of PCS education PCS] internationally, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies has taken

a new initiative for further developing worldwide academic collaboration. In this context, the

PCS Global Campus Program [GCP] has been launched since 2006 having member universities

as Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, Kabul

Lanka has been funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology

[MEXT] in Japan for the first three years.

Coordinator for global peace programme organised by Tokyo University of Foreign Studies,

Peace and Conflict studies department on Skype (video conference) from 7TH June to 5th June

2016 in which 5 students from BSW III and 12 from MSW Students participated and presented

research papers on current issues related to conflict and violence in India and abroad. It is

collaboration between University of Cambodia, University of Japan and Islamic University of

Kashmir. The student participants received certificate for the same.

2017/18
