Mobile and Wholesale Operators. It is intended to provide customers
with details of how our Portfolio can benefit their businesses.

BASE PLATFORM
Traffic Control 6000: Cloud-native version of the Platform optimised
for installation in NFV and fully virtual environments. Traffic Control
6000 is licensed using a subscription model, and is deployed via a
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery model that provides our
customers with immediate access to our latest functionality. New
messaging functions such as the 5G SMSF are available on this
platform version only.
Traffic Control 5000: Traditional messaging architecture platform
sold under CAPEX/OPEX model to support legacy messaging
functions such as SMSC and MMSC.
The Base Platform for all our messaging products is Traffic Control.
Traffic Control is available to the market in 2 variations:

SMSC: Core SMSC for 2G and 3G networks supporting both A2P and
P2P services.
MMSC: Multi-Media Messaging Centre for rich messaging functionality
for A2P and P2P.
USSD Gateway: Gateway function supporting messaging transactions
via USSD
IMS IP SM Gateway: Can be deployed as part of an IMS network to
implement the SMS service on 4G or 5G networks.
5G SMSF: 5G compliant messaging function enabling SMS delivery on
5G networks with no IMS core.
RCS Application Server: IMS Application Server supporting RCS
messaging flows
Missed Call Notification: Implements missed call notification and call
back notification features

Messaging Firewall: Our Messaging Firewall is a rules-based fraud
management system for messaging. It allows our customers to
configure rules controlling SMS and MMS deliveries on their networks.
It is fully complaint to GSMA IR.71 SMS Anti-Fraud standards.
Messaging Personalization: The Messaging Personalization module
supports features that allow subscribers to personalize how their
messages are handled in the network. It enables features such as SMS
Copy, Forward a Personal SMS Firewall (Blacklists)
Application Router: Openmind’s Application Router is a multi-
protocol A2P/P2A Gateway providing access control for thousands of
Large Accounts/ESMEs sending and receiving A2P traffic on a mobile
network.
Bulk Messaging: The Bulk Messaging feature enables controlled
broadcasts of SMS and MMS traffic on a network.
The following additional modules are available to provide added value to
the core messaging functions deployed in a network.

Future messaging revenues for mobile operators will be based on A2P
and P2A services. Openmind’s Mobile Engagement product offers APIs
and GUIs that enterprise customers can use to engage with their
customers. The Mobile Engagement Product supports both bulk
campaigns as well as individual transactional messages, and is available
on Traffic Control 6000 only.
Customer Care: The Customer Care function provides a GUI that
operators can use to query the status of messages processed for their
customers.
Messaging Analytics and Reporting: The Messaging Analytics and
Reporting Function provides web-based Reports and Dashboards that
are intuitive and interactive. Operators can use the function to gain
insights into messaging activity on the network and to audit
interconnect volumes and messages received from aggregators and
wholesale suppliers.

wholesale OPERATOR PRODUCTSBASE PLATFORMThe Base Platform for all our Wholesale Operator Products is also Traffic
Control, and is also offered in 2 versions: Traffic Control 6000 for fully
virtualised or NFV networks, and Traffic Control 5000 for networks using
traditional architectures.
Core Messaging Functions
SMS Hub: Openmind’s SMS Hub is the most widely deployed Hubbing
product on the market. It supports IR.75 Open Connectivity Message
Flows, and can also be configured to support alternative message
flows.
MMS Hub: Our MMS Hub is an MM4/MM3 Router used by industry
leaders for MMS Hubbing Services. MMS Interconnect volumes are
rising worldwide due to functionality provided by new handsets. MMS
is also a fallback channel for RCS message deliveries.
RCS Hub: Our RCS Hub product is intended to meet emerging market
requirements for RCS messaging interconnectivity.

Our Services Portfolio helps our customers achieve specific business
outcomes by providing access to the expertise of our staff together
with specialised technological tools that deliver measurable value for
our customers.
Smishing DetectionSmishing attacks are increasing worldwide and are undermining
consumer trust in mobile messaging services. If they are not stopped,
they are an existential threat to the highly valuable A2P business.
Openmind’s Smishing Detection Service employs a variety of tools and
techniques to detect and block Smishing attacks as soon as they
happen.
SIMBOX Detection
The SIMBOX Detection Service uses our Neural Network technology to
identify SIMBOX devices active on the network (or on interconnect
partner networks). In addition to identifying messages sent from
SIMBOXes, we also classify those messages in accordance with A2P
message type (2FA, Targeted Adverts, Financial Information, Spam,
etc.) so the host operator can determine which active SIMBOXes they
wish to block. SIMBOX Detection allows operators to protect their A2P
business as well as controlling Spam messages sent to subscribers.
International A2P Revenue Assurance
The International A2P Revenue Assurance service uses our Neural
Network technology in combination with our expertise in messaging to
identify and block revenue leakage caused by ‘Grey Routes’ activity on
SS7 interconnects, or illegal use of domestic SMPP/Large Account
access for premium international A2P messages.

IDD Revenue Share Fraud Detection
Use of SMS for IDD Revenue Share Fraud is a growing problem. In many
cases this is driven by malware on mobile devices or by installation of
‘free’ Apps that use international SMS as a monetisation strategy. This
type of fraud can account for between 5% and 10% of the total
international SMS sent from a network. It can cause bill shock for
subscribers and significant termination fees for the host network. Our
IDD Revenue Share Fraud Detection service gives operators the ability
to detect and block this activity and prevent these losses from
occurring.
Messaging Network Reporting andAnalysisOpenmind’s Insight Platform is a powerful business analytics and
reporting tool that can provide operators with detailed intelligence on
all messaging activity in their networks. With our Messaging Network
Reporting and Analysis service, the power of Insight is made available
under a Service agreement, whereby Openmind’s experts will
configure and maintain reports on the platform, and use information
obtained to provide advice to customers on issues that may be
impacting their messaging business.
Managed SMS Firewall Service
Under the Managed SMS Firewall Service, Openmind’s experts take on
responsibility for the day-to-day configuration and management of our
Protect SMS Firewall for our customers. The Protect Firewall is a rules-
based system, and active management of the system is essential to
ensuring that all threats to the network are dealt with. The Service is
designed for operators who do not have access to the resources or
expertise necessary to maintain the Firewall themselves.
