Bazaar Magazine Cover DesignThis project was a magazine design that I created to embody the style of the artist, Henry Wolf. For the style of the piece, I was inspired by vintage and modern, feminine photography from old Bazaar magazines.

Final DesignFor the final design, I came up with this seductive yet modern look to the cover. I wanted the cover to show simplicity in beauty, but also with a little edge to it.

The Butterfly’s Voyage Book Cover DesignsFor this project, I created a book design for the titles “The Winter of the Butterfly’s Voyage” and “The Spring of the Butterfly’s Voyage”. I was inspired by spirituality, metamorphosis, and the journey of a girl becoming a woman.

Final DesignFor the two book covers, I expressed abstraction and focused on the photography. This helped create an illusion of butterfly wings, creating a connection between the girl and metamorphosis.

SARDAA- Shattering Stigma- Realizing Recovery Poster DesignsI created two poster concepts for the non-profit, SARDAA: Shattering Stigma - Realizing Recovery, to help reflect how mental disorders create a variety of uncontrollable human emotions. I was inspired by shattered mirrors because it shows how “broken” people live with severe mental disorders.

Final DesignSARDAA believes in improving lives of people with mental disorders by supporting and helping those with internal problems. I used photography behind a fractured design to show some of the phases in mental disorders.

VH1 Save The Music Foundation Poster DesignsThis project consists of poster concept designs for the non-profit, VH1 Save The Music Foundation. For my process, I focused on the vibrations of sound and how music effects our emotions.

Final DesignThe art for this profit shows how music brings emotion into our lives and expands our creative minds. The VH1 Save The Music Foundation believes all adolescents in schools should have access to music and be a main part of their education.

“Dear RJ” Memoir VideoI created a video memoir dedicated to my little brother, RJ. I was inspired by my family and the idea of enjoying what the world has to offer.

Daydreaming Magazine ArticleI created a magazine article to reflect the feeling of daydreaming. I was inspired by the idea of being lost in the clouds or drifitng off into fantasy.

Final DesignIn the article, I used clouds and stars to create a dream-like sequence. The imagery creates this illusion of dreams.

Fashionable Earth Logo DesignI created a logo re-design concept for the non-profit, Fashionable Earth. I was inspired by nature and the shape of the female body.

Final DesignIn my final design, I reflected the connection between women and nature, in a modernized style. Fashionable Earth believes in creating earth-friendly clothing for women in many different countries. They also believe in expresing natural beauty.

“Body Language”In this video, I did a combination of body control and ritual dancing. I was inspired by African culture and dance.

Senior Capstone- The African Well Fund This is a small preview of the logo and Magazine Ads in my Senior Capstone. I got the chance to design with a non-profit organization called the African Well Fund. I was inspired by the shape of their water well that they build for African communities. These wells help give villagers clean water.

Final DesignFor the logo, I focused a lot on the typography. I wanted to express a connection between the water, the shape of the well, and the heart of the African Well Fund’s old logo. For the Magazine Ad design, I wanted to create an African vibe to it.
