a housE and a Barn in thE hungarian town of vErEB

thE sitE is in a rural town, vErEB. thE task was to dEsign a Barn and a housE. thE concEPt was an l-shaPEd Building, in thE sEcond Part of which thE rEsidEntial Part, whilE in its first Part thE Barn can BE found. thE final rEsult was a Building with a Porch in accordancE with thE rural traditions of hungary.

thE insPiration of thE installation was thE annivErsary of thE dEath of laJos vaJda, a hungarian artist. Most of his Paint-ings wErE insPirEd By thE housEs of thE PicturEsquE hungarian town of sZEntEndrE. in his Paintings thE EffEcts of collagE can BE fElt strongly. it MadE a grEat influEncE on us, so wE MadE a Photo sEriEs in which wE transforMEd thE nEighBouring architEctural ElEMEnts onto thE walls of thE housEs with thE hElP of a Mirror.
