a word I just recently learned I’ve been misspelling. While giving me more reason to spell-check everything twice, I’ve incidentally achieved the most secure password in the world. Though one of my finer accomplishments to date, I’ve done other stuff too.

Please enjoy this collection of blurred dichotomy between work and play.

Cheers.

My name is Christian and my password for everything is...

ACADEMY OF SCIENCES: NIGHTLIFENightlife goes epic

The worlds of museums and parties usually land on opposite sides of the fun spectrum, yet these two collide every Thursday night at the Academy of Sciences. With a mix of live music, cocktails, and exhibits, Nightlife invites you to the party to mingle and marvel at all things epic and scientific.

ROCK PAPER SCISSOR COLLECTIVEcreate offline

In today’s digital world, creating something starts on a computer screen and ends with clicking print. RPSC is a volunteer-run organization that offers classes in the lost arts of craftsmanship. From silkscreening to sewing, RPSC challenges people to cut once and measure twice, not figuratively, but literally with your own two hands.

LUCKY STRIKE LANESa game of style

This bowling alley is not your typical nacho cheese laden, teenage arcade-gaming, dreary last resort to a Friday night. Lucky Strike Lanes is not so much about the bowling than it is about the style. With a full bar and restaurant offering anything from cocktails to coconut shrimp, a snazy collection of art, and sleek leather couches– feel free to strike out, so long as you do so in style.

THE BEANSTALK BANDITglorified storybook hero exposed

This project revisits a childhood favorite to question the morality of the supposed hero formerly known as Jack. My interpretation hunts down “The Beanstalk Bandit” through the use of missing posters around the city, a scavenger hunt mediated through a blog, and hidden stolen possessions in the form of stenciled graffiti art. As people play, the city becomes the storybook.
