INWOOD RESIDENCE (INWOOD, NY)

Th e Inwood Residence design fuses a living and studio space. Th e sleeping quarters and the studio space are designed on opposite sides of the house, to allow for two distinct experiences.

Th e studio brings in the New Jersey views and plenty of light, while obstructing any views from the house.

Th e bedroom is raised off the ground to add to the privacy of the space. Th e bedroom’s ribbon windows serve as living art by allowing in specifi c natural views.

SOLAR DECATHLON (NEW YORK, NY)

Th e Solar Roof Pod takes advantage of and benefi ts some of the most underutilized real estate in New York City: the fl at rooft ops of existing large commercial and residential buildings.

Our solution benefi ts its host building and city grid through the distribution of excess energy, while contributing to overall urban quality of life: amenity open space, heat island mitigation, storm water management and carbon emissions reduction- each a focus of New York City’s long term sustainability initiative, PlaNYC 2030.

RESIDENTIAL (HARLEM, NY)

A mixed use building that to incorporate an outdoor space for each living unit to allow for better urban living conditions. Further studying the site, resulted in the necessity for extra green space. To accommodate for the need for green space, the building features a green roof concealed behind a false façade. Th e sloping green roof allows for water management and grey water collection. In the core of the building is located a large water tank where the water from the roof is collected and later distributed. Th e roof incorporates the necessary roof infrastructure (such as smoke stacks) as scattered sculptures.

YOUTH HOUSING (THE BRONX, NY)

To prepare young adults to lead responsible and fullfi lling lives by teaching behavioral accountability, and providing mentoring and education within a safe and structured, dynamic enviornment.
