This was our idea generation which listed our aims that includes :1)using a stronger magnet 2) Make the train really light 3) Train with walls 4)Using Magnetic Strip 5) Locating the solenoids under the train. The sequence followed represents a constant improvisation method needed for better outcome

Week 3 (8/4/2015)

This was our idea categorization and idea integration required to perform decision matrix.The categories included 1) Better Battery 2) Track with walls 3) Lighter Train 4) T and U shape track 5) Magnetic Hover above train 6) Track with 3 lines of magnets

Learning Outcome 1: Produce useful ideas and concepts using Brain Storming (C)Students EvidenceDateThe second step was to categorise out ideas into appropriate title so that a decision matrix can be made which will help the leader evaluate and prioritize all of the options made considering solutions to a difficult task.

Week 3 (8/4/2015)

In the decision matrix operation we sub categorized our consideration into 1) Cost 2) Max Weight 3) Effectiveness with a rating of 1-5 for each. The rating given was conveyed from every of the group members and averaged it so that every members contribution of rating is given importance.The desirability to for a Maglev Train is high and rife. Viability of the project so far is not good as theres still needs to be more improvements on how to handle malfunctions. The project for Maglev Train has high sustainability for now and in future

Learning Outcome 1: Produce useful ideas and concepts using Brain Storming (C)Students EvidenceDateThe third step was to make a decision matrix to evaluate the options and prioritize which was to be considered, this will simplify the decision making methods relatively quicker and in a fashion that is objective.

Week 3 (8/4/2015)Reflection: Our project activities so far has been good , however considering other groups progress our group is trailing behind .This is so because there is a lack of communication between group members, in my opinion. Some group members are unwilling to help other group members who are unsure of what to do.However I believe that our group progress can be improved through productive interaction with each and every group members, where group members will assists other group members who are struggling in order to produce a better outcome of the project.
