PORTFOLIO
Since childhood I have loved to display images visually. Drawing and sketching have always been creative outlets for me and i find these two skills comes quite naturally to me. The more I practiced and the more knowledge I attained in my latter years, the more I appreciated my gift and let it in a sense, work for me. With this, I began to tackle differing
media just as a means to challenge myself. My design grew from stuffing sketchbooks to architectural drafts on velum paper to model building and now on to professional Adobe Creative Suite software. In no regard do I
foresee limitations in my craft.
Writing is one of the most effective ways of communicating. There is so much one can convey through words that he or she may not otherwise be able to even want to say. Thankfully, I was able to attain the ability of formal structure and even wrote for fun in my
spare time. I never saw writing to be a chore, oddly enough. To me, it was simply a path into a brighter furure.
My psychology background allows me to effectively communicate with people using both of the aforementioned elements whilst utlilizing my natural interpersonal skills. I know that possessing a background in
psychology is a great benefit to any position because it has aided me in refining my efficacy, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. Whenever I make mention of my psych degree, everyone asks, “How is that degree going to help you?” Because they assume my studies were clinically concentrated. And although, I did take a few medical-based
courses as electives, the core of my studies involved one’s understanding of behavior and society and even consumer relations.
Co-mingled with my degree, my love of design is depicted in my creativity and analytical problem-solving skills.
With the skill-set I’ve acquired throughout the years while working and studying, I am confident that I am an asset to every endeavor in my pursuits, as I am a results-driven, self-starting, fast learner with no
reservations toward a challenge. My past experiences will show that I can and have easily adapted to various industries and settings (i.e. ability to manage; work in a team; and work independently). And in every intern-ship or occupation I have entered into, I have demonstrated great worth ethic, a passion for positive results, and eagerness to succeed and aiding
others in their quest for success as well.

ZINGA MARKETING ASSISTANT PROPOSAL
Objective: To promote Zinga Frozen Yogurt’s brand by serving as marketing Assistant. This would entail the sale of products and services that will most benefit the customers and owners through various communications techniques done in a manner that will optimize market share and savings, improve both effectiveness and efficiency, help achieve the company’s mission and goals, and ultimately ZINGA! is a leader is the consumer relations field.
Agenda (Brand): This proposal serves as a request for career advancement with zinga! frozen yogurt companies upon graduation from the col-lege of William and Mary in May 2012. The purpose of serving as marketing aide will be to promote the brand’s traits as a health conscious, delicious and age friendly product to the Williamsburg and Hampton Roads area as well as other locations as necessary. I will raise the appeal of the store with creative strategic marketing and visual design input.
Challenge: To raise the appeal and aware level of Zinga! Frozen Yogurt as a franchise to prospective and current customers/consumers.
Opportunity: To expand the Monticello, Williamsburg brand of Zinga! Frozen Yogurt using strategic visual design and marketing strategies based on artistic and architectural insight.
Truth: Because this location is relatively new there is a need for more marketing and exposure. This frozen yogurt franchise faces competitors such as ice cream and other eateries. Therefore the appeal level of Zinga at Monticello must be raised sufficiently.
Insight: Zinga Frozen Yogurt stores are known for their colorful and fun energetic colors as well as their health beneficial options. Possible marketing includes a play on slogans such as, “A dessert so good he’ll feel like your cheating on your diet.” As well as other slogans, promotional cues play on the satisfying taste and its purpose as a viable healthy desert.
Company analysis – Zinga!, Inc. announced three new Zinga! Platform partners: Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., Playdemic Limited and Rebellion Developments Ltd. The Zinga! Platform, announced on March 1, is a new platform designed to bring players more people to play with and more ways to play. Platform partners will have access to the 240 million monthly active users who currently play Zinga! games by publishing and promoting their games across the Zinga! network. In addition, Zinga! will enable partners to tap into channels and features that increase social engagement, analytics that measure and drive social, and back end technology that ensures scalability and availability.
Cost benefit analysis – The benefits of hiring me as a marketing aide would include an increase in productivity, a decrease in operating ex-penses, more efficient operations, or an increase in sales. The costs for employing you may include salary, benefits, training, possible software for media maintenance and travel.
Target Audience: Due to the flexible nature of this product the target audience relying heavily on health conscious individuals can also span to include youth and young adults because of its taste appeal.
Campaign Ideas:• Adsthatfocusonafamilytheme,therebyreachingallofthetargetaudience• Catchysloganswithplayonhealthandtaste• Don’tlikemilk?…TryourNon-dairysorbetsandlow-carbyogurtflavors• WM/WMSBG/JCC/COMMUNITYoutreach• Apparel,catering,productexpansion
Closing statement – In closing the frozen yogurt based brand of zinga! is a high energy marketed environment that has a wide age ranged clientele that would better be reached through multimedia and new age technology based marketing: one of the key target areas would be the nearby college of William & mary which would diversify and enhance the clientele of zinga!. As marketing assistant I will be able to assist in executing the expansion and enhancement of the zinga! brand.
