Portable Farms™ Aquaponics SystemsRevolutionary new invention for on-site food production

facilities that pay for themselves over time.

A 10,000 sq ft Portable Farms Aquaponics System

installation in Botswana, Africa. Official launch December 1, 2011

• Raises Organic Vegetables and Fresh Fish, 12 months per year

• Increases Food Security and Availability

• Offers Dramatic Reduction in Water Usage

• Requires Minimal Upkeep and Operations

• Brings Food Production Practices in the 21st Century

The Portable Farms™ Aquaponics Systems Are Fully Automated

• No need to water your plants because a Portable Farms™

Aquaponics System uses a timed cycle to circulate the water

throughout the system so the plants constantly receive a fresh supply

of 26˚ C (79˚ F)nutrient-laden water.

• No soil is necessary. Plants grow in trays filled with gravel or river

rock.

• No weeding is necessary.

• No pesticides or fertilizers are necessary.

• The Portable Farms™ Aquaponics System can be Solar or Wind

These vegetables were grown in the gravel in the Grow Tray

Tables. A very wide variety of vegetables can be grown. Root

crops excluded. Flowers also can be grown.

These plants have been growing about six weeks.

Technology License includes the training and the technology to build an

unlimited number of Units that works year after year, in a climatically adapted

structures within the territory. Portable Farms engineers arrive on site to train

your people to build and operate every facet of the technology.

After curing the water and insuring the system has no leaks, the all-male Tilapia fish, (fingerlings) are placed in the warm water in the fish tanks. California Hybrid Tilapia

are a crossbred of Mozambique and Hornorum Tilapia. This cross is called female fatal because the females all die very young.

The fish to the right are about 18cm (7”) long and will be harvested at 28cm or .5 kg.

Normally a tilapia grows toharvest size in 6.5 to 8 monthsat that point they are .5kg.

Duckweed can be grown near the farm to feed your fish.

Duckweed is the smallest, flowering plant in the world

and grown under ideal conditions, it is 15% to 45% protein.

Your fresh food is always green and crisp and ready to eat,

and only steps from your kitchen or packing area,

12 months a year . . .

Portable Farms™ Aquaponics System Technology License

Information. Licenses are for specifically defined territories.

The area in which the License Holder’s company can sell, build and

service the PFAS installations in a reasonable fashion.

In some cases this territory will be entire countries, Botswana being

the most recent example. It is a very large country with a small

population and the License Holder is a national builder with thirty

years of experience and a number of crews, a good fit.

In some instances a city, county or province is a better sized territory

to work within for the License Holder. The city of Austin, Texas or the

County of Cork or a zone in a large city being examples.

Some License Holder companies can reasonably service an area

larger than their surrounding county, city, state or province and can

apply for an extension of the defined territory.
