When Do Children Go to ESL?
Depending on the student’s proficiency and the school schedule,
a student attends ESL
5 days a week for 35-75 minutes a day* Classroom teachers know when their students will be
out of the room. They plan their lessons accordingly. For special class activities, the children remain in the room. They attend all special classes like art, music, physical education, etc.
