If 550 tickets for the Porsche are not sold, a full refund will be provided and the Porsche raffle will not occur. *The IRS now requires raffle winners to pay federal taxes on raffle winnings at the time of the award. The Asheville Symphony will pay to the IRS, on behalf of the winner, an amount equal to 31.58% of our cost of the vehicle. The tax must be paid not only on the fair market value of the winnings, but also on the tax itself, therefore a grossed up tax rate of 31.58% of the winnings. The Asheville Symphony announces the July 2020 Porsche Boxster raffle. We offer the best odds, limiting the number of entrants to only 999 at $125.00 each. In addition, we pay the federal taxes on your winnings*. Be sure to visit our website and see the happy winners.
The drawing for this raffle will be on June 26, 2020, or sooner if the raffle sells out. This is a fundraising event and all proceeds benefit the Asheville Symphony Orchestra.
