PSTC FacilitiesPSTC has excellent facilities with conference hall, well-equipped training rooms, meeting rooms, canteen facility, multimedia, computer (both desktop and laptop) with necessary accessories and all materials at Niketon in Dhaka.
PSTC Training Complex, Gazipur PSTC also has its own training complex at Masterbari, Kaultia, Gazipur, near Dhaka. The complex is situated inside the vawal forest, a calm and quiet place. There are training halls with 200 participant capacities, 60-person living accommodations, dining and other meeting facilities.
Way ForwardPSTC works intensively for the multi-dimensional development partners for program implementation and maintains networking in the program areas. Organization will also continue providing community services with the emphasis on health service delivery, training and skills development, especially for the disadvantaged children, women and youth & adolescents. PSTC’s contribution will continue to be profound in the coming years.

IntroductionPopulation Services and Training Center (PSTC) is the inheriting organization of Family Planning Services and Training Center (FPSTC) which was created by a government order in 1978. It is -
a non-government, not-for-profit voluntary organizationregistered with the Department of Social Services in 1995 and with NGO Affairs Bureau in 1996affiliated with Directorate General of Family Planning in 1997declared as the inheriting organization of FPSTC by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 1997.
PSTC has been working for the improvement and uphold the standard of livelihoods of poor and socially disadvantaged people by undertaking various programs and projects particularly, health services focused projects around the country.
Major accomplishmentsPSTC (the then FPSTC) developed and promoted 82 local level NGOs throughout the country, which has been playing a significant role to supplement and complement national health and family planning program during last 37 years. As a Member-Secretary of Family Planning Council of Voluntary Organization (FPCVO) that time PSTC contributed in enhancing coordination and collaboration mechanism among the government and non-government organizations.Previously, PSTC was used to act as resource organization for the national and local level NGOs as Grants Management Agency.
Operational AreaPSTC has been in its operation through108 offices with 65 clinics in 23 districts under seven divisions (Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna & Rangpur) of Banglafdesh.

modesty and team spirit.
Management and OperationA seven-member Governing Body (GB), elected by the General Members in every two years, works actively for setting up the priorities, standards and reviewing the overall policy guideline of the organization. The Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Treasurer along with other GB members oversee the implementation of the ongoing activities of the organization on a regular basis.
The Executive Director is responsible for overall implementation of the PSTC programs and projects. The Executive Director also works as an ex-officio Member Secretary of the Governing Body. He is joined by number of Directors, Senior Management Team (SMT) and a group of qualified and experienced professionals to run the programs and projects undertaken by PSTC.
