-Located in southern Europe and extends out into the central

Mediterranean Sea north of Tunisia.

-The colosseum, it is a reminder of the long and rich history of the peninsula.

-The village of positano is a very popular town because it lies on a rocky cliff.

-renaissance sculpture develooed in Italy during the 1400 and 1500 michelangelo produced many famous statues.

-The leaning tower of pisa was meant to be strait be tilted southeast because of bad foundation.

-The alps were a long wall of mountains going through south east of italy.
