X-‐MAS ON THE WALL Turn a hanger into a striking Christmas ornament. Use fabric ribbon cut to different lengths to hang Christmas baubles from it. Hang them at different heights for a casual effect.
ADD STRUCTURE Give a plain Christmas bauble some extra flair with casual dots from a structure paint pen.

HAND-‐PAINTED Revamp old plain Christmas ornaments by using a highlighter to draw your own flower motif. You need to look no further than a pretty piece of wrapping paper or wallpaper for inspiration. Tie a bow using ribbon and hang your ornaments as an eye-catching piece.
DOILY LIGHTS Dress up simple, coloured glass votive holders with paper lace doilies. Cut the doily in half and glue it to the votive holder, making sure to align the straight edge with the bottom..

LOVELY DETAIL Design your own baubles with a thin permanent marker pen.
FELT WREATH Put some felt balls on to a white thread and connect the ends to make a circle. Decorate with a small yellow ribbon.

FELT COATED MUG Wrap some felt around your coffee mugs. Use the cutout flowers from the
menu’s as coasters.
PERSONAL MENU Create a see-through menu with your guest’s picture as a nametag.

COASTERS Cut out felt circles in contrasting colours: easy-made coasters!
MAKE A WISH Poems or Christmas wishes pinned to a branch make a perfect dreamy tree.

GRANDMA’S GLASSWARE Coloured glass ornaments are back. Blue & green combine perfectly for Christmas.

FELT MINI-‐TREE Layer some circles of felt on a little branch. Stick into a cork. Finish with a little star on top.
PAPER STARS Cut out 6 circles of wrapping paper. Fold in the middle. Glue together creating a paper star. Connect with a ribbon or thread.

VINTAGE LOVES KITSCH Combine shiny ornaments with classic items & enjoy the luxury effect.
WOOD & FIRE A log of wood and some candles make a shiny festive table.

MIX & MATCH Mix contrasting colours, keep the shapes alike.
TWINKLE Make a star out of metal wire. Decorate with beads and little shiny ornaments.

GOLDEN ANGEL Cut out 4 angel shapes (p.40). Glue them together 2 by 2. Make an incision in the middle of the top half of one of the figures. The other one gets an incision in the bottom half. Slide one figure over the other to make the angel stand upright.
PAPER STARS Cut out 3 circles. Fold them in the middle. Glue all 3 of them together to make a star.

3D CARD Cut out the deer shape (p. 42) out of white paper. Use coloured wallpaper to create a forest background.
GOODIE BASKET Cut out the basket shape using the template (p. 41) and fold into shape.

RIBBON UPON RIBBON Lighten up plain wrapping paper using ribbons of different kinds, colours & sizes.
GIFT VOUCHER GLASS Roll up a gift voucher & wrap it in silk paper. Put the silk paper roll in a high glass. Cover the glass with a layer of coloured tracing paper. Add a colourful ribbon using double-sided tape.

NEEDLEWORK Wrap a gift in plain coloured paper & add a layer of pierced tracing paper.

CUPCAKE ROSE Stack some cupcake papers & fill up with a rose for a romantic gift.

TREASURE BOX Decorate a plain wooden box with wrapping paper & Mod Podge. Make some paper curls to fill the box.
GIFT VOUCHER ENVELOPE Wrap a gift voucher in paper & put it in a see-through envelope. Make a little ‘window’ out of wrapping paper for the name. Decorate with a woolen bow.
EMBROIDERED TAG Embroider some stars on to a paper tag. Fix it to the gift with thread & a pin.
