A Letter From The Editor -

Dear Monarch Family:

Please indulge me as we begin this week’s newsletter with a brief Homecoming 101.

Homecoming is a time to celebrate shared experiences, when alumni, family, and friends return to their alma maters from around the world to annually connect with the past, present, and future of their great school. Simply put, it’s an amazing reason to bring the entire ‘family’ back together.

At Poolville Elementary School, you are family.

We cannot wait to welcome you back home next week. Please continue reading onward for additional details pertaining to the events that transpired this week and those that are scheduled for next week.

*Please be on the lookout for future attendance contests and competitions. Research shows that missing 10 percent of school, or about 18 days in most school districts, negatively affects a student’s academic performance. That’s just two days a month…and that’s known as chronic absence.
