• ATECPOOL Reversible cycle heat pump can be used for heating and cooling swimming pool, spa or other water bodies.
• RCHP technology is based on the same principle employed in air conditioners and refrigerators, delivering up to five times more energy in heat than it consumes electricity. Heat pumps are designed to heat your pool by extracting ambient heat from the atmosphere. This heat is then transferred into a refrigerant gas which is compressed and heated further. The heat is then transferred into the pool water, and heats your pool.

External Heat Exchanger (Evaporator coils)
• The tubes are made of copper and the fins in aluminium.

Refrigerant

Water Heat Exchanger
• This is made of double spiralled Titanium tubes encased in PVC or S.S. for additional protection against corrosive pool water.
• The double spiraling of the heat exchanger increases the surface area that comes in contact with the pool water, and also drastically reduces scaling.

ATECPOOL Supreme W2W Heat Pumps offer high efficiencies, advanced features, extremely quiet operation and application flexibility and the best suited for indoor installation with compact design with very little floor space . Plant rooms located within the buildings with many piping around is always a challenge but not for our compact W2W model. Super quiet units with anti-vibration techniques would support the usability of the adjacent rooms.
Smart Energy
Clean Energy is our mission and ATECPOOL Supreme W2W uses the energy contained in renewable resources: air, water and ground, with zero CO2 emissions and no fossil fuel use. The energy source from water / air is clean and unlimited, making the heat pump a precious renewable source, data based on RES European directive (Renewable Energy Source). We use only Eco-friendly refrigerant R410A for compressors.
High Efficiency
W2W heat pumps typically deliver 4 to 6 Watts of every watt of energy consumed to run the compressor and load line pumps. In other words, for each Watt of energy used, to provide 4 to 6 Watts of energy to heat the water body. The use of a high efficiency water-to-water heat pump combined with source line various application possibilities is an unbeatable combination. Atecpool Supreme Water to Water Heat Pump
Atecpool Supreme highly efficient Water-to-Water heat pumps with advanced features and extremely quiet operation. Atecpool Water to Water heat pumps are designed with application flexibility that can be used for various purpose, like radiant floor heating, melting snow/ice, domestic hot water heating, temperature controlled water bodies, swimming pools and many other hydronics heating applications where a system of heating or cooling that involves the transfer of heat by a circulating fluid (as water or vapor) in a closed system of pipes.
Atecpool Supreme Water-to-Water Heat Pumps are available as heating only or with reversible operation for heating and cooling ATEC SPH series.
Atecpool Supreme ATEC SPH Series only for heating includes a special high temperature scroll compressor coupled with heat exchangers designed specifically for water heating, which provides unmatched efficiency and performance. The evaporator is a coaxial (tube-in-tube) Titanium heat exchanger that is capable of operation over a wide range of temperatures, and is more rugged than other types of evaporators. The condenser uses a close approach temperature brazed plate heat exchanger that is designed for high temperature operation. This combination of coaxial/brazed plate heat exchangers provides the best combination of durability and efficiency. Atecpool uses coaxial heat exchangers for evaporators. Brazed plate heat exchangers may be used for condensers when the unit is not reversible.

Heating Cycle – Atecpool Supreme ATEC SPH Series
Atecpool Supreme reversible water-to-water unit in heating mode with the addition of a reversing valve, the chilled water line source heat exchanger and heating system heat exchanger can change functions, depending upon the desired mode of operation. In the heating mode, the heating system heat exchanger functions as the condenser, and the chilled water loop source heat exchanger functions as the evaporator. ATEC SPH Series compressors have a wide operating map, which allows high temperature operation, up to 45°C leaving water temperature, even at 7°C chilled water line temperatures. Chilled water line heat exchanger is always an evaporator, but for reversible units, the evaporator and condenser change, depending upon operating mode, heating or cooling.
Cooling Cycle – Atecpool Supreme ATEC SPH Series
Atecpool Supreme reversible water-to-water heat pump now provides chilled water on the closed water circuit/ swimming pool side instead of hot water. The swimming pool side heat exchanger becomes the evaporator, and the chilled water line or bypassed line for other application source heat exchanger becomes the condenser. Because the evaporator is susceptible to freezing under adverse operating conditions (e.g. failed pump, controls problem, etc.), a coaxial (Tube-in-Tube) heat exchanger is used on the swimming pool side for reversible units. When selecting equipment for systems that require cooling, all aspects of the system design should be considered.

Atecpool Supreme ATEC SPH Series
Atecpool water source heat pumps absorb heat (energy) from any water source and transfers it to the spa or the swimming pool.
The cold water on entry side may be used for cooling the unit. The units can be installed indoor or outdoor and have a low sound level and vibrations being reduced or avoided due to insulation inside the units and around the compressors as well as floating supports.
The compact design heat pump has built-in Copeland compressor, and Emerson thermal expansion valve to ensure it works smoothly.

Heat Exchanger
Heat exchanger tube in tube Titanium or 316L plate type. Titanium Tube-In-Shell heat exchangers are designed for both refrigerant to water & water to water applications. The internal helical coil is constructed with titanium tubing and enclosed in a Schedule 40 PVC shell. All internal materials are non-corrosive in seawater and will not leach toxic elements into the system water. Titanium helical coil / insulated PVC shell / use as heat exchanger or condenser / fresh or saltwater use compact design compression fittings for titanium to copper connectors / compatible with refrigerant, water or glycol.
LED Controller
With touch-screen LED display panel board, sensitive keypad. Auto mode and manual mode optional. Functions as heat pump thermostat, condensate overflow protection and LED status on the board.
Thermal Expansion Valve
Emerson’s TXVs are designed for a wide range of air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pump, and chiller applications. Regulate the rate of refrigerant flow into the evaporator. Stainless steel power element eliminates failures caused by corrosion.
4 Way Valve
Danfoss SAGINOMIYA 4-way-valve to adjust refrigerant flow direction for heating/cooling. A 4-way reversing valve is the key component to provide Heating or Cooling from the system to the closed water circuit by reversing the flow direction of refrigerant. The reversing valves are designed for W2W heat pump with capacity from 12 kW to 580kW. They are suitable for most refrigerants as R407C - R410A - R134A. The cycle inversion is initiated by a small solenoid pilot valve controlling the movement of a slider, which changes the direction of the refrigerant.

ThermalecTitanium Electrical Heater
The Thermalec pool and spa heater range
Built using Titanium elements, to the same exact standards traditionally associated with Thermalec® heaters, the THR TITANIUM range fulfils all the required electrical safety standards.
Size range from 3kW to 168kW
• Unique spiral flow allows efficient heat removal from the elements, minimising the scale and sediment build up.
• Unique design ensures cooler water from the filter pump does not strike the elements directly (giving longer life).
• Air generated from the pump passes harmlessly around the sides of the baffles and across the top of the heater elements (heat pumps heat both air and water).
• The control thermostat is positioned to sense the incoming water temperature and controls the pool to within 1oC.
• The safety thermostat senses the water temperature leaving the heater.
• Thermalec® heaters can be used in conjunction with other heating systems to provide year round heating solutions for your pool or spa.
• Each heater is designed with its own simple self diagnostic system.

CDP Pool Dehumidification - Efficient dehumidification for aggressive environments
Fully automatic operations
The small units are fully automatic. They are supplied with electronic control, built in adjustable hygrostat and a visual display showing the display modes.
The large units are supplied with electronic control and prepared for external hygrostat connection. An electronic module provides a visual display of working modes while the control panel provides push button selection of air heating and continuous fan run. The control panel can be moved to either side of the unit to suit plant room configuration..
Function
An integral fan draws humid air into the dehumidifier through a filter. Here the air passes through an evaporator, where the water vapour condenses on a cold surface and falls as water droplets, into the drip tray and then into the drain. The cooled air then passes through a condenser and picks up not only the heat equivalent of the previous cooling, but also the heat equivalent of the electrical input to the unit. Consequently, the air leaves the unit drier and several degrees warmer. The repeated circulation of air through the unit reduces the relative humidity, giving very rapid but gentle drying.
In swimming pool halls with large window areas, a solution where the dehumidified and warm supply air is led through pipes under the floor and blown under the windows is a reliable choice. In this way condensing of the windows can be avoided.

Flexible installation of the CDP
The CDP units are highly flexible regarding installation. They are designed for installation in plant rooms, with ducted supply and return air, but can also be installed directly in the room that needs dehumidification. A range of options are available for the CDP to meet individual requirements, including heating coils, outdoor air connection, wall-mount kit and floor mount kit. The CDP is also available with a water-cooled condenser allowing the excess heat to be used for pool or domestic hot water. The fresh air discharge can be from the top or from the side opposite to the air inlet. Both evaporator and condenser coils are epoxy-coated for higher corrosion resistance.

Atecpool has got the optimal technical solution for any possible task, with connection sizes from: Ø15mm - Ø500mm covering a liquid flow of 50l/hours - 2000 m3/hour.
Advantages
• The plates and plate patterns are constructed to obtain a high thermal efficiency with a low pressure drop
• There are two pattern designs available with different pressing angles giving respectively high/low turbulence flow, dependant on the given selection
• The inlet channels allow for maximum strength in the inlet area, whilst maintaining minimum of contact points, reducing blockage at the flow distribution zone
• The inlet design ensures even distribution of the liquids across the heating surface
• The gasket is placed in a dedicated retaining gasket groove. This secures the elasticity of the gasket even after a long time of compression
Plate Design
The construction of the inlet part makes a perfect distribution of the liquids across the heating surface. The inlet part is increased and supplied with grooves preventing “dead spots” which may cause the growth of bacteria in the plate heat exchanger. The inlet with grooves secures a strong inlet part with a minimum of contact points.
The inlet parts are constructed with a leakage drained zone fufilling the AAA specifications.
The heat transfer plates are designed with a gap between plates up to 11mm depending on the plate type. Because the pattern of the plate pressing is horizontal waves maintaining no “plate contact points” in the flow direction, the flow channels remain free of obstacles allowing the media / particles to flow freely.
