OM
OM-------------------OM-------------------OM
OM is the sacred monosyllable, the mystic letter.
OM is the symbol of Brahman.
OM is immortality.
OM is the source of everything, the foundation of the Vedas.
In OM merges all trinities.
OM actually consists of three letters A, U, M which covers the whole
range of sound vibrations. The sound of ‘A’ represents the waking-state;
the sound of ‘U’ represents the dream-state; and the sound of ‘M’
represents the deep-sleep-state. Every kind of trinity is represented by
OM, viz. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh-Shiva, past, present, future, birth,
life, death, creation, preservation, destruct, waking, dream, deep-sleep,
being, non-being, and so on.
Taittiriya Upnishad says “Thou art the sheath of Brahma”. That means
‘OM’ is the container for the Supreme and, therefore, invoking ‘OM’ is
invoking the Supreme.

Lābhā Lābhau Jayā Jayau
Tato Yudhāya Yujyasv
