To improve this, we are having to retime services to cope with traffic conditions and this means that most early morning college journeys will depart up to 17 minutes earlier than at present. Here’s what is happening: X55 Swansea City Bus Station to Glynneath via Neath Bus Station: Service renumbered to X7 which, combined with new service X8, will create a 30 minute service between Swansea and Neath. 56 Neath Bus Station to Pontardawe via Bryncoch and Rhos: The 0735 journey from Morriston will start 15 minutes earlier at 0720 to aid punctuality. 58/X58 Swansea to Banwen via Neath: Banwen journeys will be renumbered X8 and follow the current X55 (X7) route between Neath and Swansea. 83 Port Talbot Bus Station to Blaengwynfi via Pontrhy- dyfen and Cymmer: The College Day departure from Blaengwynfi to Neath Port Talbot College Afan Campus will depart at 0727, 17 minutes earlier than at present. 901 Margam to Neath Campus via Port Talbot Bus Station, Sandfields Estate and Baglan Estate: The 0807 journey from Port Talbot Bus Station will depart at 0810, arriving at Neath Campus at 0855. 902 Pontrhydyfen and Cwmavon to Neath Campus: The morning journey from Pontrhydyfen is retimed to depart at 0725, 11 minutes earlier than at present with journeys allocated extra running time to improve reliability. 903 Abercraf to Neath Campus via Pontardawe: The morning journey will leave Abercraf Hotel at 0740, 5 minutes earlier than at present to allow extra running time. 905 Cwmtwrch to Neath Campus via Tairgwaith, Alltycham, Pontardawe: The morning journey from Cwmtwrch New Inn will leave at 0710, 11 minutes earlier than at present to allow extra running time. 906 Min-yr-Awel to Neath Campus via Glynneath, Abergarwed and Aberdulais: The morning journey from Min-yr-Awel will leave at 0735, 13 minutes earlier than at present to allow extra running time. 907 Coelbren to Neath Campus via Banwen, Seven Sisters and Crynant: The morning journey from Coelbren School will leave at 0725, 7 minutes earlier than at present to allow extra running time.
