ACCOMPLISHMENTS: • New Security Contractor.• New scheme for Grounds Maintenance.• Self Management of Admin office.• Cleaner Financial records.• Implemented logbook, SRs and CAs in Admin office.• Defined a master calendar of events.• Ponderosa lighted signage by the gate.• Free rabies shots for pets.• Back to school community outreach.• Seminar on garbage segregation.• First Ponderosa newsletter.• Repainting of theme parks and main gate.

COMMUNITY Activities and SOCIALS among neighbors:
• Regular activities on Saturdays:Bible sharing at 10am. Aerobics / Zumba class at 2pm. Anticipated Mass at 5pm.Café Rosa 10am to 6pm including Sundays.
• Quarterly: Progressive dinners.• Done: Summer outing in Anilao.• Done: Easter Egg Hunt.• Done: Movie date – Les Miserables.• Done: Bowling in Highlands.• Done: Concert at the park.
PROBLEMS: • Seven households were notified to comply with rule on pets. Not all cooperated.• Complaints about snakes. As we get more successful in grass cutting, this should improve. But not all will be eradicated. Any brilliant ideas? Please communicate with Grounds Committee.• Complaints about security personnel (acted upon).• Emergency phone line is intermittently not working.• Car stickers were issued to non-members, i.e., building contractors. HSS Committee is working on this.• Collapsed fence: 2 points have been restored. 5 more to go.• Some portions of our road network are cracked. Engineering Committee is working on this, together with turnover of facilities.
PROJECTS…• Review of Rules and Regulations.• Complete contact info and updated records for HOA members.• VAT exemption.• Strategic Plan (FGDs done. Next step: Survey.)• Work with architect for conceptual planning to develop campsite for alternative use: possibly basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, table tennis, mezannine for gym and aerobics.
PROJECTS…• Integrated solution: solar lights, broadband, CCTV.• Generator in the clubhouse.• Planting of trees around Clubhouse. • Planting of pine trees, mostly in Phase 3.• Pigeon box for mails of weekenders.• Road Signs.• Fire Drill and First Aid training.• Training of pool attendant and lady guard to be able to assist in pool accidents.• Accredit service contractors: plumbing service, aircon service, electrician, etc.
