Cuisine PL
Polish presidency is a great opportunity to promote polish cuisine. Adam Chrząstkowski, one of the most appreciated masters of polish cuisine, supervises creating excellent menu, including polish dishes based on regional products, for top-level meetings in Poland and Brussels. Moreover, foreign delegations and journalists visiting Poland during the presidency are given a set of recipes for polish meals, which were arranged in a modern way by 16 chefs, including three foreigners, who work every day for the best polish restaurants. A product which is commonly associated with polish cuisine is a starting point for each recipe (e. g. herring, pickled cucumbers, grits, poppy seed, venison). Each recipe is preceded by a description understandable for a foreign recipient, which includes the meal's cultural context.
Publication is more attractive thanks to modern illustrations. Publication is available on presidency's web site
