Section 10: Policy on health, safety, environment and energy

Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited is a Thai-owned company

conducting full-circuit oil business including procurement, refining and marketing with its

own refinery. The company runs its business under the culture “sustainable businessdevelopment in compliance with environment and society”.

The company considers the system of health, safety and environment

management is a part of business. It is a duty and responsibility of all executives and

staff members in:

•  carrying out duties to ensure safety without producing impact to oneself,

concerned parties, community and environment;

•  conforming to laws concerning health, safety, environment and energy;

•  protecting toxic conditions, leakage and loss of oil;

•  protecting accidents in all aspects;

•  utilizing resources including energy, water, chemical substances in an

economical basis that complies with the company’s objectives;

•  undertaking continued development of system of health, safety and

environment management.

Executives shall ensure provision of resources that are adequate and

appropriate so as to attain the objectives and targets of the company. Trainings

shall be organized for all levels of staff to enhance competency and

responsibility. Participation of staff is encouraged in terms of opinion expressing.

Policy and management system of industrial standard/OHSAS18001 have been

on a regular review. Furthermore, the Company has formulated sustainability

report for providing information concerning policy on health, safety, environment

and energy including the Company’s operating outcomes, activities, and

procedures employed to accommodate equitable treatment to all stakeholders.
