Pokémon™ Shuffle is a puzzlegame where you line up three ormore of the same Pokémon toclear them from the Puzzle Area.You battle opposing Pokémonthrough these puzzles, and youcan use Poké Balls to catch plentyof Pokémon to help you on yourjourney.

5 Saving/Deleting Data

♦ If you delete your game data,you will lose any Jewels youhave obtained—including anypurchased Jewels. DeletedJewels cannot be restored.

6 Selecting a Stage

❶ Hearts

You use up a Heart each timeyou play a stage. When you runout of Hearts, you won't be ableto play again until you gain atleast one Heart.

♦ You gain Hearts over time.You earn one Heart per settime period.

♦ You do not gain any more

♦ As you make progress in thegame, you'll see more optionsdisplayed on the screen.

Tap a stage to select it. Once youselect a stage, you'll have thechance to prepare for it (p. 7).Then, it's time for battle (p. 8–10).

9 Playing Stages

♦ If your catch fails, you can usesome of your Coins to get aGreat Ball and try again.

When you clear stage, you'll have chance to throw Poké Ball to try tcatch a wild Pokémon. The moremoves you have remaining, theeasier it will be to catch aPokémon.

You can battle opposing Pokémonby taking actions in puzzles. Whenyou move a Pokémon and clear itfrom the Puzzle Area, you dealdamage to the opposing Pokémonand use one of your remainingmoves.

♦ Some stages will require you toreduce the foe's HP to zerobefore a time limit runs out.

You clear a stage by reducing theopposing Pokémon's HP to zerobefore you run out of moves.

10 Clearing Pokémon

If you clear a Pokémthat holds a MegSton ) and fill itgauge completely, iwill Mega Evolve. Thiwill have different effects,depending on the Pokémon.

Line up three of thsame Pokémon eithehorizontally or verticalby dragging a Pokémoacross the Puzzle AreThe Pokémon making the matchwill be cleared from the PuzzleArea.

If you make a cross-shaped orL-shaped match, or if clearing amatch causes the Pokémon iconsdropping down to make a newmatch, you'll achieve a combo.
