This game is Pokémon™ AlphaSapphire. The story differs slightly inPokémon™ Omega Ruby andPokémon Alpha Sapphire, as do thetypes and likelihood of Pokémonappearing. However, you can usecommunication features, battle, andtrade Pokémon between PokémonOmega Ruby and Pokémon AlphaSapphire.

7 Saving & Erasing Data

If you select Save on the field menu(p. 9), you will be able to save youradventure up to that point.

♦ You can only keep one saved-game file.

If you wish to start again from thebeginning, you will first have toerase your saved-game file. Whenyou wish to completely erase yoursaved data, press + + simultaneously from the title screen.

♦ Once your saved-game file iserased, it cannot be recovered. Allof your Pokémon, items, andsettings will be lost. Be very sureyou understand the implicationsbefore erasing your game.

8 Gameplay

This world is inhabited by mysteriouscreatures known as Pokémon. Theappearances and forms of thesePokémon and the habitats they livein are all very different. We humanslive together with our Pokémonevery single day, but there is still somuch that we do not understandabout them. Many scholars aroundthe world research them, includingProfessor Birch of Littleroot Town.

On a beautiful sunny day, you moveto Littleroot Town, where ProfessorBirch has his Pokémon Lab. Youdutifully go to greet the professorand find him being attacked by a wildPokémon. After you save him, theprofessor awards you a Pokémon ofyour own. The tale of you and yourPokémon partner is about to begin!

Register as many Pokémon as youcan in your Hoenn Pokédex byencountering and catching manydifferent types of Pokémon. This isone of the big goals to complete onyour journey!

It is important for a Pokémon Trainerto improve his or her skills. Bybattling against wild Pokémon andother Trainers, your Pokémon willgain experience and becomestronger. In the Hoenn region, youcan challenge Pokémon Gyms to testyour strength against that of others.Defeat the powerful Gym Leaderswithin them, and work hard tobecome the strongest Trainer youcan be!

You can select the BuzzNavapplication from your PokéNav Plus.Touch the icon in the upper-rightcorner of the BuzzNav screen, andanswer Yes when asked if you wouldlike to activate StreetPass.

In your System Settings, touch DataManagement, and then touchStreetPass Management. Select thePokémon ΩR / αS icon, and touchDeactivate StreetPass.
