Colonel Robert Gibbon Johnson of Salem, NJ, brought thetomato home to America from abroad in 1808. As the story istold, it was Johnson who, on September 26, 1820, once and forall proved tomatoes non-poisonous and safe for consumption.

He stood on the steps of the Salem courthouse and bravelyconsumed an entire bushel of tomatoes without keeling overor suffering any ill effects whatsoever. His grandstandingattracted a crowd of over 2,000 people who were certain hewas committing public suicide. This would have been the firstreality TV show if they had had television back then. The local

firemens band even played a mournful song, adding to theperceived morbid display of courage. I kept being woken up by the same recurringdream. I was dreaming of four airlines in thesky performing all sorts of bizarre and oddmaneuvers. The airplanes appeared to bestolen in my dream, and doing somethingfrightening in the air. They were largepassenger jets and several times in theevening I woke up with various dreams aboutthese jets performing all of these maneuversand so forth. There was something sinisterabout the dream, and it frightened me, and Idid not know what was going on.I never remember my dreams, but when I wentto work that day I told a girl I worked withabout this dream because I kept thinking aboutit again and again. She was in New York and I

I Do Not Know Why I Am Telling You This

But I was dreaming about these four airplanes doing crazy thingsall night. It was a really strange dream. I told her.

I talked to her twice that day and on both occasions I brought upthese jets performing these strange maneuvers. For some

Or spoken to someone about them before orsince. On that particular day, however, it wasall I could think about. As far as I rememberI did not dream of the airplanes crashing into

I Have Thought About This Incident Over and Over Throughout

the Years.

It was so unusual because of the timing of the dream,

the person I spoke with about the dream being in NewYork,

the fact that I dreamed about four planes,

and the fact that I never remember my dreams but onthis particular incident I did.

What I think this means is that in the ether there aresignals that are available to us that our minds may be

able to pick up. In the case of the airplanes, withoutcalling myself psychic, I think there must have beensome sort of charge out there related to this event thatcame to me from the future. I realize how insane thissounds; however, I am really not sure what otherexplanation there is out there.

As We Wandered Around What Essentially Was A Kaballah

BookstoreSeveral young people came up to us and tried to explainhow cool Kabbalah is and recruit us. My wife becameextremely uncomfortable, and wanted to get the heck outof there. In fact, I am not sure she understood what tomake of the entire thing.

My wife is Jewish and her father is from Israel and mothergrew up in a fairly typical Jewish, New York householdand I do not think she ever witnessed Jews recruitingpeople to join them. One of the really interesting thingsabout the Jewish religion is that they do not convertpeople. However, Jews used to aggressively convert

converts until around 300 BC when proselytizing convertsto Judaism was outlawed by the Roman Empire. Once therestrictions against this were lifted hundreds of yearslater, it never really caught on again. Today, people aretraditionally discouraged by Jewish Rabbis fromconverting to Judaism. That said, my wife had never seen

Jews trying to convert people, and thought she was in themidst of some sick freak show.

Because My Wife Pulled Me Out Of the Kabbalah Center

Before I had the chance to buy anything, I ordered afew books about the Kabbalah once I got home. Ieven ordered theZoharwhich is a huge threevolume set which explores Kabbalah as well. I readabout the Kabbalah for at least a month, and while Ilearned a lot of stuff from my reading, I will

summarize the gist of what I learned right here in anextreme Cliff Notes version:

First, I learned that it is important to always makeothers first in every action that you do.

Second, I learned that your mind can createwhatever result you want from anything, and yourbeliefs about the way things are is what shapesreality.

This was the most profound thing that I learned.

You will live forever.

I mean if you really believe this, then according toKabbalah teachings this could in fact happen.Stories in the Bible of people living hundreds ofyears could be true according to the mystical sortsof Kabbalah teachings, because only the mind cancreate limits in the body. This sounds magical inmany respects, but the logic and so forthunderlying this is incredibly complex, and the more

you study Kabbalah, the more you see there issome truth to this. For example, prior to May 6,1954, when Roger Bannister broke the four-minutemile, for over a century people had believed it wasphysiologically impossible to run a four-minutemile.

They just had a moredeveloped ability to tap into this sort of knowledge.

People in India who are able to live withoutfood or water. This sounds incredible;however, I have heard about this from enoughpeople and enough times that I believe that itis probably true. We are able to create nuclear

energy without burning fossil fuels. Televisionwaves, cell phone signals, radio signals andmore can travel through the air unseen. Thereare many things we do not understand.

When I saw Sunyogi Umasankar, 39, the first thoughtthat struck me was how totally at ease he seemed in athin muslin dhoti on a chilly winter morning. I then cameto know that he is totally immune to climatic conditions.

Frequent enough that even if they are partiallydiscredited, the odds are pretty good that there islikely some truth to them. The idea is that thereis certainly some sort of substance and energyout therewhether it is from the sun or the air
