OUR SCHOOL By

Fathi Nimrawi

Our school is just like a shining bright star

That leads us to the safety shore.

We learn good manners,

And so many things more.

Just like a piece of marble

In the hands of a brilliant sculptor

Like a soft and tender flower

taken care of by a good farmer .

So how can we repay?

Those who enlightened our lives today

Keeping them in mind, and never forget them

Is the only way.

THE MOBILE By

Fathi Nimrawi

I’m the mobile.

I make people dial.

I make distances short

And sad faces smile.

If you don’t know me

Try to ask Kyle.

He will tell you that

I’m the mobile

I’m a machine.

The story of the union By

Fathi Nimrawi

Once upon a time

in a land called fantasy

Seven emirates stood apart

Fighting battling ignoring a fact

they were brothers

what they do was not right

it seemed this situation

will never come to an end

war and rage were going to extend

war begot war rage never but sorrow send

A knight arose from the heart of the desert

Calling upon his fellow leaders

Why not we make things right?

Why not we stop the fight?

Why not we unite?

They answered instantly

You are absolutely right

Ride your horse

By

Fathi Nimraw i

Ride your horse

and I'll ride mine

Through the desert

Where love is beauty

And beauty is devine

Let's ride by the sea

Where we feel

limitless and free

Ride with me tell

the end of day

Tell the bright silver moon

turns

into dark gray

Life is short

so stop the whine

And ride your horse

and ill ride mine

Peace By

Fathi Nimrawi

To believe is the core

Love is the tool that stops war

Passion for the needy and the poor

If we don’t believe

If we don’t love

if we don’t show passion

Humanity will exist no more.

Tree By

Fathi Nimrawi

Very tall, very high

Rising up t o the sky.

A haven for birds and animals

Never say why.

Gives us shade; no one paid.

Gives us wood when it never should

Rooted down deep to the ground

If you want to cut it down,

It will cry like swan

let me be

Cause am your friend

Iam the tree

Drugs By

Fathi Nimrawi

Never do drugs

Drugs are bad.

They make you sick

all the time sad.

You lose your family

starting with your dad.

If you don't die

You will get mad.

If you get high

You will touch the sky.

You will finally fall

Like a dead fly.

The Journey

By

Fathi Nimrawi

I came to life from a dark place

To see the light

through your tired face

Oh it was such a grace

to see your lovely face

They made me cry

I don’t know why

They raised me high

cheering it is a boy

I think it is a lie

eventually am going to die

I started journeying form

darkness in to darkness

Will the journey be doomed?

Or will it be full of righteousness

Through the valley of shadows

I shall pass

Will it be full of thorns?

Or will it be furnished with green grass

Vague and mystery is my destiny

Tiresome journey full of agony

I don’t know how will it end

Neither

do I know for how long will it extend.

My name is Hussein.

I live in Alain.

My sister’s is Yasmin.

When she goes to work

She always takes the train.

My name is Hussein I’m from Alain.

In the English class we learn about food chain

We learn who eats what and what does the sea contain.

We learn about plants and how they produce oxygen.

We also learn that every creature is a part of at least one food chain.

My name is Hussein and I love Alain

The Elephant By

Fathi Nimrawi

There was once a big big elephant

His tusks are white, his ears are flat

He was really fat.

There was once a big big elephant

His head is round, his feet are round

When he walks he shakes the ground

He was really proud

There was once a big big elephant

He was an amazing creature

The mouse By

Fathi Nimrawi

A mouse

lived under the house.

He ate left outs,

some times he ate grass

One day a strange thought

Occurred to him

Why don’t I move up to the house?

I may have a luxurious life

With my children and

my lovely wife

He packed his bags in a hurry

He didn’t listen to his fairy

Don’t go, don’t go

It is dangerous and scary

He never listened to voice of reason

He thought it was the right season

Allah By

Fathi Nimrawi

He is the maker; he is the creator

He is the all mighty no one is greater.

He is the merciful; the most wonderful

He is the greatest the most powerful

He created darkness; he created light

He gave us intellect just to be bright.

He is the light, the brightest light

He never sleeps not even a slight

He watches over us, he loves us

From the forces of darkness he delivers us

Once we sin he forgives us

He hears our complains, he listens to our plight

He argues us always not to start a fight

He existed before existence; He is all around us

Contemplate yourself if you feel suspicious

He is the highest; there is nothing above

He is the lowest there is nothing beneath

When he creates anything, he doesn’t absolve

He Surmount the throne; he did that alone

Life by

Fathi Nimrawi

What’s the moon if not shining?

What’s the sun if not warm?

What’s the wind if not roaring?

What is it if not a storm?

Like a ship in the middle of the ocean

Holding to the edge of a gigantic wave .

Our life is extortion

from cradle to the grave

Like a weed in the middle of the desert

fighting the wind for its life.

afraid of being eaten

begging the mighty to stay alive.
