LOCATION OF PODLASIEPodlasie is located in the Podlasie Lowland. It covers the southern part of the Podlasie region, north-eastern part of the province of Lublin and a piece of Mazowieckie.

of species of mammals and birds. Apart from

these, there are still reptiles and

amphibians.

CULTURAL EVENTSIn Podlasie  is a lot of cultural events for example : Brass Band Parade in Suchowola – Europarade, „ What has to swim not sink”- Augustow - Championships in swimming for just anything, International Summer Academy of the Knowledge of Polish Tatars, Bread Day in Ciechanowiec.

„WHAT HAS TO SWIM NOT SINK”- AUGUSTOW Swimming for just anything is cyclic events organized annually from 1995 in Augustow. Takes place at Channel Augustowski on river Nette. Swimming for just anything involves the construction of something, only thing  not keep up on the water but will be very interesting look .

I INTERNATIONAL BRASS BAND PARADE IN BIALYSTOK Organized for the first time an overview of wind brass orchestras of Polish, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia and Hungary, ending in early June. Orchestra presented a musical setting and parade drill.

FOLK OUTFITHe was an important part of village life and culture conditioned by many factors: geographic region, history, tradition. Folk outfit stressed the importance of all celebrations and festivals, important personal eventslike a wedding.Today it has a role symbol of regional identity.

REGIONAL DISHESKitchen of Podlasie is the cultural heritage of our region. The rules and the composition of these foods is being protected  EU  law. For dishes include: pie, different types ofcereal, Sękacz and potato cake.
