STEP 1• Open your favorite Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc.)• In the address bar write: www.podomatic.com• You'll be taken to PodOmatic's official website.

Tip: Choose the basic version, creates a free account.
• Upload your profile picture.
• You'll be taken to your working area (dashboard).
• Look around and get to know the PodOmatic working area.
STEP 3
Signing Up
• Click on the "Sign Up" button on the right-side-corner.
• Read the characteristics of the editions of Podcast.
• Click on "Sign Up" button. (Basic)

• Select an audio/video clip:
• Choose one of the provided options (upload file, media library, record, transfer, skip this step)
• Choose your audio file.
Tip: You'll have to continue the publishing process.

• Write a Title and Description for your episode.
• Click on Save & Continue.

Tip: To separate a tag from one another, write a comma (,).
• Write tags for your podcast.
• Tags are usually important words (keywords) that refer to your podcast.
• Users can find your podcast episode through your tags.
• Click on the "Save & Continue" button.

Tip: PodOmatic recommends photos 600X600
• Select a photo for the episode.
• Choose one of the provided options (upload photo, media library, image URL, Skip this step)
• Choose your photo file.

• Your episode is now published.
• Click on "Home" and go back to your Podomatic working area.

• Add Chapters (optional).
• Quality/Format• Streaming (allow
download, RSS)• Publication Date.• Scroll-down and click
on the "Save & Continue" button.

• Easily share your podcasts with your students and colleagues.

Tip: podcast web address-URL (yourname.podomatic.com)
• Click on "Podcast" on the menu.
• Choose Podcast > Settings.
• Fill your podcasting information. (Podcast URL, Tag line, Cover art, Description, Category, Tags, Language)
• Click on the "Save" button.

• Under " Optional Downloads" > "Plug-ins and Libraries", click on " LADSPA plug-ins Installer".
• Download will start.

Downloading Plug-ins/Libraries
Tip: On Windows Vista/7 all downloads are saved on Downloads folder.
• Click on the "Download" tab on the Audacity Website.
• Choose the latest version for your Operating System (OS) [Windows, Mac OSX, Linux]
• View system requirements.
• Click on "Audacity Installer" link.
• The download will start.

Tip: Read carefully before hitting the "Next" button.
• Run the Plug-ins installer (double-click).
• Follow the Setup Wizard instructions.
• Click "Next" when prompted.
• Click "Install".

Tip: Depending on your security settings, UAC will ask you to authorize changes to your computer.
• Run the Audacity Installer.
• On Windows Vista/7-When UAC dialog box appears, click "Yes" button
• Click "Next"• Read Terms of
Service, Click "Next".
• Click "Next"• Click "Install"• Click"Next"• Click "Finish"• Audacity has been
installed on your computer.

Tip: Be sure to copy the files in the right location.
• When the ZIP file has download, double click -on it and extract all files.
• Copy those file in the following place in your computer. (C:\Program Files\Audacity\Plug-Ins).
• Open Audacity.• File>Export>Select
MP3 File>Ok.• Click on "browse"
button.• Look for the files
you've just copied.• Select and Click
"Ok"

Install MP3 Encoder
Tip: This encoder is necessary to export to MP3.
• On the Audacity Downloads web page: Click on "LAME MP3 encoder"
• You'll be taken to another page, Click on LAME Download Page".
• Click on the link" libmp3lame-win-3.98.2.zip".
• Download will start.

Stop Record
Tip: Look for a silent place to record.
• Click on the recording button (Red dot).
• Begin speaking and recording your voice.
• Click on the stop button (Yellow Square), when you're done recording.
Make sure your microphone is on/plugged in.

Tip: The best way to learn how-to use a software is trying it.
• Open Audacity and take a look around.
• Audacity is a audio editing software.
• Open each menu and see what the characteristics Audacity offers.
