Shot 1: The data is categorical, which is the reason the z test for the difference in two proportions method was used.

Shot 2: The critical value is equal to 0.783, the lower region is -1.96 and the upper region is 1.96

Shot 3: The first parameter is ‘ 10 males en-joy music activities’ and ‘9 females enjoy mu-sic activities’ The p-value is equal to 0.783 and is inside the region of non-rejection.

Shot 4: The second parameter is ‘2 males enjoy activities other than music’ and ’10 females enjoy activities other than music’ The p-value is 0.0101 and is beyond the region of non-rejection.

Shot 1: When comparing the data from females who enjoy music related activities versus other activities, females enjoy music 47% and other activities 53% of the time.

Shot 2: When comparing the data from males who enjoy music related activities versus other activities, males enjoy music 83% and other activities 17% of the time.

Shot 3: Males plus music equals 10 and females plus music equals 9. Fail to reject the Null Hy-pothesis. Males plus activities other than music equals two and females plus activities other than music equals 10. Reject the Null Hypothesis.

Shot 4: Interpretation: College students enjoy music related activities. Males enjoy music related activities more than other types of activities.

Shot 5: Other findings that are very interesting and surprising is that the majority of students can afford to travel. College students have a stigma of being considered broke. A follow up study is recommended to find out where college students are spending their money.

Shot 6: When asked “Do you have ac-cess to cash for travel?” Students re-sponded yes 58% yes, 10% sometimes, and 32% no.
